When I was obsessed with exercise and active ALL the time, I rarely rested. I'm now paying the price. Exercise is a wonderful stress reliever but should be done wisely. More is not necessarily better.

Mind-body exercises (for me yoga) have a place in my overall fitness plan for sure. They are one of my go-to workouts on active rest days. Also they have been very helpful in making me aware of some strength imbalances that made high impact exercises increasingly uncomfortable. I would never have discovered this just by pounding the pavement day after day.
