As Summer Vacation winds down and we get ready to send our kids back to school, we are reminded that it's time to start adjusting those schedules. We are going to start getting back into those necessary habits this week.

We all know that getting the kids (and ourselves) up early can be a struggle after a couple of months of late nights and sleeping in. It's time to set a new sleep schedule and put it into place this week. Create a new sleep schedule for your school-age children and post it for them to see.

Many people dislike the lunch options that schools provide. This week we will start preparing for packing healthy lunches. Let's make sure they have the right equipment: lunchbox, carrying cases, thermos, water bottle, reusable ice packs. Begin looking for new lunch ideas to keep their lunches healthy and interesting!
