Hattie, thank you for creating the challenge. I'm sorry I let you all down, but my computer died last weekend and was with the Geek Squad getting de-bugged. I just got it back. emoticon

Sadly, this was conference week, so I can't report many positive food changes. I did a lot of meal-skipping, short nights and long days meaning fast food, and sugar to keep me going. I'm now on spring break, so I'm ready to restart my healthy choices.

I have to think what I did this week and when.

I believe it was Wednesday 3/12 - I swapped out the bread roll from the sandwich place with Tumours a low carb, high fiber wrap for my sandwich. It really was just as good without all the bread.
03/13: I swapped out the pretzels I felt like having for carrots instead.

Those are the ones I remember this week.

Great Jambaby!!!

3/11 - I had leftovers as my healthy swap--I know weird, but I was tired from my trainer, and would normally get something quick, but instead we had the lasagna I made the night before with a large salad.

3/12 - I got a small twist cone(210 cal) from DQ, instead of my favorite Peanut Buster Parfait(750 cal)

3/13-FOr dessert I had my apple warm with cinnamon, it is soooo good.

3/14--Opted to stay home and eat dinner for date night rather than go out. I had checked the calories of the restaurant we had planned on going to BWW, so I had a game plan. But I was like, 'Hubs, we burned all those calories today, let's not eat them.'

Ok I am in

3/11 I ate my sandwich rolled in lettuce instead of bread so it was a meat wrap instead
3/12 I ate salad instead of fried food for lunch
3/13 I had barbequed ribs instead of chicken fried steak
3/14 I ate fruit salad and a smoothie instead of left overs for lunch
3/15 hubby is deep fat frying chicken strips for hot strips, and mine are baked instead!
3/16 I had broccoli and cheese instead of ranch potatoes

Since we don't have a new challenge for this week yet, I figured I would create one.
Heather I hope you are ok=)

So this week we are going to focus on healthy eating. Once a day you need to swap a 'not so great' item for a better one.

Example--
93/7 beef instead of 80/20

We just want to do it at least once a day. The little changes will pay off BIG over time.
