Congrats on your weight loss!

I am a stress/emotional eater. I do best when I don't allow unhealthy foods in the house. I also substitute an unhealthy food for a healthy one. Like for instance, I switched from milk chocolate to dark chocolate. I will have a few pretzels instead of chips. And carrots instead of cheetos. (Not really even close to the same but I do like carrots now!)

If possible, when you feel the urge to eat or grab a snack, take a walk first. Or lift some dumbbells, a 'walk away the pounds' video - just something to distract you or take your mind off of things.

Drinking water sometimes helps too.

Make time, or make excuses. The choice is yours.

Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.

I have worked so hard to lose 14 lbs. since Sept.My dietician says I am doing great, but for the past few days, I have been very irritable about my son (who lives out of state...)long story...but he is stressing me financially. My blood pressure goes up and down. I have been to the doctor, etc and am monitoring my blood pressue....but I am not wanting to give myself credit for what I have accomplished & the last 3 days, I have sabatoge my weight loss by eating more!!! emoticon If anyone can give me some feedback&/or support, I would truly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
