Thank you! I went for a run today after a four day break and was able to go up from six miles to eight! Felt amazing, that's the farthest I've ever run! Thanks for the help

I'm by no means an expert, but my first thought goes to over-training, which can lead to a decline in performance with fatigued muscles. Do you struggle with tight, sore muscles during a run, or any other significant problem? Or does your mind wander and you lose track of your pace that way?

Advice for speeding up your pace is to do interval runs, or practice strides, and temporarily reduce your weekly mileage to give yourself a break, and have a better variety of workouts to break through plateaus. That's all I can think of for now. Hope it helps! :) Keep up the good work.

I've been running 3-5 miles four times a week for a couple of weeks and recently I've noticed that my pace has slowed down significantly. I am a slow runner but my pace has gone from 10 min/mile to more like 12/13 min/mile. I was curious if anyone had advice on how to get back to my pace or what could be causing this in the first place?
