Welcome Megan and Cowsfly!

How are we doing this week?

I have been working out hard and long but my consistency with staying in range is difficult. Weekends I tend to stop caring and 1 or 2 days of consuming 2,000 calories whether or not I'm exercising makes me gain weight. I've done pretty well the last couple days so lets hope I'm getting used to eating less than 1500!

Exercise today: 30 min yoga video, 10 min stairmaster, 30 min arc interval training, inner / outer thigh machine

Hi! I joined a long time ago and starting back up again! So decided to join a challenge to hopefully help me out.
Goals: work out 5 times a week for 30+ minutes
Include more fruits and vegetables in my diet and stay within my calorie range
Do yoga 2 times a week to help destress!
And I'll add an extra: I, too, am trying to cut down on the alcohol but has been so hard with Cinco De Mayo, concerts, shows, and soon to be b-b-qs!

I have just started this month, so my goals are set - but to participate my goals are: Fitness: jog/run about 6 days/wk (3 days on, 1 day off). I have signed myself up for a 5K on June 7th so I am building up my endurance as I have never been a runner. Dietary: Consume 1200-1500 calories/day, focusing on nutrition and balance. I am trying to eat more fruits and veggies, my goal to start with has been 2/day. General well-being: Reduce stress, practice on giving myself "me time", get rid of negativity. (All of these being related.)

OK, well being goal. I don't know. I need to think about that one.

Today's exercise: 30 minutes treadmill, 10 minutes arc. 3 ab exercises x 3 plus chest press and row x3

I've just finished dinner and am drinking a margarita. (Happy Cinco de Mayo!) If I can resist having another one I'll finish the day at 1168 calories.

My goals are simple this month.

Food: consume between 1100-1300 calories a day. Eat nutritious.
Exercise: cardio at least 5x a week, strength at least 3x

I think I did a general challenge too but don't remember. Will post that later.

Last year there were several members who benefited from monthly challenges. Starting this to see if anyone else is interested in reviving that.

May Challenge: pick 1 fitness goal, 1 dietary goal, and 1 general well being goal for this month. Use the thread to check in, update, and receive support!!
