9 mile run - I'm jealous! I need to get in my long runs, but I need my running group for that! It's not an excuse, but at least I'm getting in hilly treadmill runs!

12/16 - 21 min hilly run, a new ST circuit routine (woo!), 21 min elliptical
12/15 - 43 min elliptical
12/14 - 37 mile run with the most amount of hills/incline I've ever done! Yay!
12/13 - 20 min elliptical, ST routine, 55 min spin class

Nice job, Canes4ever! Keep working hard; you're so close to your goal weight!!

12/12: tough elliptical workout (28 min) and spinning (20 min) circuit - my legs were dead!
12/13: 9 mile run ... slow, but I did it!!

got in 23 miles running/walking this week along with cycling (probably 15 miles) and elliptical (probably 2 miles). going to do lots of driving Sat/Sun, but I'll take walking breaks to keep myself awake/moving!

Keep working hard, ladies!

Glad we're motivating you, Raelean!

And I'm glad you're done with finals, finally!!

12/12 - awful 36 minutes on the elliptical. I did it, I felt every minute of it, man my core is sore!
12/11 - AWESOME 35 minute run. Did it all at 6.4 mph, first 5 min at 0% incline, 5 min at 0.5%, 10 min at 1%, 5 min at 1.5%, 5 min at 2%, 1 min at 1.5%, 1 min at 1%, 2 min at 0.5%, 2 min at 0%. Whew! AND, my strength training routine.

Tomorrow will be rough. Wake up early (again!) to do my ST routine, then get in at least 20 min on the elliptical, then drive to another gym to get to a spin class!

Wow reading what everyone is up to is motivation in it's self. I managed to get active every day so far, some days it was just a walk with the dog, but I'm counting it.

I'm down! I've done something everyday, but to sum it up:

12/10 - elliptical 40 min. Goal was 45 but I got to the gym later than expected :(
12/9 - elliptical 48 min, strength training/circuit routine
12/8 - elliptical 18 min, spin class 55 min, yoga 70 min
12/7 - running 30 min (5 min at 6.3mph, 0% incline, 5 min at 6.3mph, 0.5% incline, 10 min at 6.3mph, 1% incline, 5 min at 6.4 mph, 1.5% incline, 5 min at 6.4 mph, 2% incline - I LOVED doing the hills! Even though it was a bit slower than what I normally do (closer to 6.5 or 6.6 mph), I don't get out of breath. 2 min in the 2% incline part I was pushing myself to finish the 5 minutes, it was awesome, and man, was I sore!), 15 min elliptical
12/6 - strength circuit routine, 30 min elliptical, 55 min spin class

I don't remember anything specific prior to this past Friday. IT would have included running, elliptical, and my ST on Monday and Wednesday!

I have to wake up early tomorrow to get in my ST and cardio and super early Thursday. Not looking forward to it, but oh well, getting in my workout is the most important part of my day!

cool! nice job.

yesterday was a fast 4 mile run at 7:10min/mi and 2 mile walk at 4.6 mph, 5% incline. I also did lots of lunges, squats, and other leg strengthening exercises for a total of 1.25 hr workout.

today will be 45 minutes of elliptical circuit and weighted arm work.

I've been really motivated this week; I think it's the fact that finals are close, and I can taste the end of a torturous term :)

I can try that.
Sunday, I did not exercise. However, Monday and Tuesday I did 19minutes each day for a break at work. Today I am planning on the 19minute workout for a break at work, as well as 8-20minutes with my Wii when I get home.

Who's with me on committing to health and pursuing goals during the holiday season? I'm in the giving mood recently, and I want to give myself as much love as I'm doling out!

So I've decided I'm committing to changing my habits TODAY - forget about January 1!

What if we check in here daily to make sure we get some exercise every day of December? This way, we'll establish healthy exercise habits before the new year, and our health-related resolutions might be easier to adhere to... love to hear your thoughts!
