It doesn't look like I will reach the goal for this. I would need to lose 3lbs in a week, and I am only trying for 1-2lbs. My thanksgiving plans have been cancelled, so a bright side is I will not be stuffing my face with food, or be bombarded with high calorie foods (although there is still a chance I might have to, but I would end up being a cook in that scenario anyway). I can plan a meal with less casseroles, and healthier than the normal thanksgiving selections.

Great work KATRICK528! When we're down to the last few it is hard to lose one a week but you're doing awesome! At this point with my health, I need to bow out of the 5-lb challenge. I'll continue to cheer you all on, though, and work on my own goals. Keep it up!

I will join too... I do not think I will get the 5lb loss because I am trying for just over a pound a week. If I can sneak in another pound between four weeks it will be great.
I typically weigh myself on Mondays, and will count what gets weighed the Monday before as the weight for the days listed.

My favorite workout regardless of season is my exercise games using the Wii. It is done indoors, and I can choose how much or how little of clothing to wear without worrying about what others would think.

this sounds like an awesome goal would love to join. My name is Mannie and im trying to lose the last stuborn 6 lbs. want to run a 5k in May.... right now i run 2 miles a day and also circuit train for 20 mins. I work 7 days a week and it gets tiresome so i would love the motivation :)

Hi Erika! Thanks for joining the challenge. I agree with you about the nutrition this time of year... my biggest battle is avoiding the snacking since the colder weather puts me inside more and I just want to graze in front of the laptop or TV. The sweetened coffee drinks are a HUGE battle for me too. You know what I'm talking about it you know the Starbucks abbreviations "PSL" and "SCM" haha.

I had my first weigh in for the challenge today and the scale said I was at 151.1 (down 3 pounds). Since I don't think I could truly lose that much weight that quickly, I'm assuming something is going on with me water weight wise and I am logging my most recent weigh in which was 153.2. At least either way I am heading in the right direction!

Had a fabulous fall jog yesterday! I always find that I enjoy being outside even more than I remembered that I did. Today is colder and rainy and gray, and my legs are very sore from earlier in the week, so I think I will really tighten up my nutrition today and just do some upper body strengthening. I plan to continue my 5k training program this coming week. Four weeks until Thanksgiving Day!

My favorite fall fitness activity is putting a good DVD on while it gets cold outside! I plan to continue my DVD rotation, as well as make the effort (and it IS effort) to not snack poorly and have healthy options on hand. My downfall isn't lack of exercise, it's lack of will power with the food. Making good food decisions and exercising regularly can get me down!
