Next month will be better since i wont miss a week. my body fat is going down. my weight went up a few pounds so that means I've added on some muscle which will speed my metabolism up.

today was day 1 of my burpee training for my challenge. I did 25 minutes of burpees with a burpee occurring every 8 seconds. I am not near my original goal, but still more then I was able to do when my ankle was recovering. I will finish the month strong and really aim to do better in Feb. I have 3 challenges to face: 1) Feb Fitness minutes, 2) Burpee challenge workouts, 3) losing 8-10 pounds. If I am logging and doing the workouts as schedule I will hit goals one and two, which I know will get me to goal 3!

Did some strength stuff, then taught a boot camp. Simply didn't plan my day well, but I ate in my zone and lots of veggies and water.

Today was a tough one. Cardio kickbxing, an cardio abs class and 30 min of interval on the elliptical climber. A little pain in the ankle, but i didn't go nuts.

I feel great. I have been focusing on strength recently since my ankle injury and I almost forgot how good cardio feels. I am looking forward to making my Feb goals both in fitness minutes and returning back to my goal weight.

today I worked out for 99 minutes/ total of 221 minutes so far this month/ my goal is 2600 minutes (I am nuts).

OK!!! I haven't posted one of these in awhile, and I meant to post it last week. But we will start anyways and see how we do. emoticon January is here and a good week in; we should have a fitness goals for this month already in mind, but if not now you do. emoticon emoticon

Okay, so to create that extra motivation to get moving here is a fitness challenge. Starts Jan 1 (if you can remember back that far). We will start each set of totals for the month. Even thought the first week is over, we are going to go for it anyways!

Here is how it works... pick a challenging amount of minutes you would like to workout during the month of JANUARY (maybe add 200 or 300 to your total completed minutes from last month). Pick something reachable, but not to easy and then post it. If you surpassed your December goal try adding 300-600 more minutes to your original goal (yes, this will be challenging... then again this is a challenge designed to get you to push your self).

Each day you do your workout record it to this thread as: current minutes/total minutes completed/goal minutes

Let's encourage each other to reach our fitness goals if its 1200 minutes or 3000 minutes during JANUARY. We Can Do It!!! So let's work up a sweat, lose some fat pounds, tone up, reach our goals, and most importantly HAVE FUN doing this!!!!
