I know it is like super late, but i still want to make some goals before thanksgiving. I have been super good and i need some accountability to get through this time of the year! I want to eat only one cheat meal per week and work out or run atleast 4 times a week. Also i have been invited to 3 thanksgivings and i only am going to indulge in one. I really really want to stick to this!

Been on vacation, so I'm a little late, but my goals are as follows:
Nutritional: track what I'm eating and eat healthier, smaller portions
- last night we had spaghetti, and I normally have a full plate of spaghetti, but instead filled 2/3rds with broccoli and cauliflower, and the remaining 1/3rd with spaghetti
Fitness: do a cardio work out 4-5 times a week and strength 3 times
- our treadmill is broken, but I used the treadmill last night at our office after work (too cold to run outside now :( )

Goodluck everyone!

Oops, I didn't post in a while. Had an exam this morning and I was so busy I didn't even go on the internet this week. So the negative this week was my eating. Tuesday and wednesday weren't so good nutrition wise. Had 1 tablet of chocolate and a couple of cookies that were out of my calorie range. I think I ate them because I was learning and a bit stressed out for the exam; my triggers for eating junk. I try to not eat that stuff but I can't stop at those days.
Has anyone any tips to overcome this problem?

The positive news is that despite my busy schedule I went to Zumba on Monday, Took a half hour walk (and a couple of stairs) on Monday and Tuesday. And yesterday I went to Club Power, an hour lesson provided by my gym with lots of weights, barbells and using every muscle in your body. The result? I had jelly arms and legs and laughing really hurt. I'm soooo sore today. But it was awesome, so I'm definitely going again next week.

So for today and the weekend I'm going back on track and be strict on what I eat/drink and exercise. emoticon

Unfortunately, I have to report that I didn't stick to today's goals. I admit to eating more than one treat (a churro and a donut) and going over my nutritional goal limits on sparkpeople. May this never again happen this month.

I did however do my daily strength training and stretching for 13 minutes.

Nutrition goal: cut back on sodium! Even though many days I am under my calorie range I still exceed or get close to exceeding my sodium recommendation. Mostly because I have no choice but to eat out a lot. But I am going to start paying much more attention no matter what!

Fitness goal: CARDIO! Since I reached my original goal weight I have been slacking on my cardio and that's not going to help loose these last couple pounds. So short 20 min cardio on ST days (mon, wed, fri) then 60 mins on tues, thur, sat. Which will be a 3 mile run plus my fun stair cardio workout I started last week :)

My fitness goal will be to do my exercise ball workout every day. I will try to do more but I want to focus on doing that routine daily then add to it.
Nutrition goal is I want to try to eat one piece of fruit or vegitable a day. I like eating baby carrots so those will probably be my go to snack.

One Nov. 1 I really was not feeling well, so needless to say, I didnt start the month out on the the right foot.
But on Nov 2, I met both of my fitness goals and was just shy of my protein goal, but I stayed within all of my other boundaries.

Well, I haven't been focusing on my goals these past three days. Since I do weekly goals, and this month started half-way through the week, I was remaining consistent with my October goals and finished them out until the very end today when I finished! I'm proud of myself for having accomplished my goal each week for October, so now it's time to focus on my new goals for November. From here on out, I'm focusing my attention on November!!

11-1-12 Results -

Nutrition - logged everything and stayed within goals. I also decided that I was going to partake in my very own 'no booze november'. I love my wine, but I know that doesn't help with weight loss. So I'm going sober in November to try and lose some of this belly fat!

Fitness - Day1 of 30 day ab challenge complete! Plus, did cardio & Legs. Did my first set of squats with a press on the bosu ball. Super awesome!

Hey,
First time I participate in a challenge! I'm excited.
Fitness Goal: even though my schedule is incredibly hectic, I want to exercise at least 3 times a week.
Nutrition Goal: Eat every day only nutritious food (for this month I try to stay away from all sweets, chocolates, cookies and junkfood)

I already made a exercise schedule for next week and I can fit at least 3 classes in. Now the task is going out of my warm, comfy home and go for it!

Going to use Dukan to lose 10-14lbs by the first or (latest) second week in December. I know diets such as Dukan aren't celebrated on Spark but I'm impatient and want more instant results!! If I can achieve this in a few weeks then hopefully I'll be able to use Sparkpeople to maintain it. I'm going to try to do P90 4 times a week as well as this to tone as I lose weight. Fingers crossed!
