Hang in there - together we CAN do it. I know for me I have to take it one day at a time because if I think about the big picture, I'll get overwhelmed. I would love to hear your song, the words are so true!

I love your lyrics!

I am surrounded by yarn-- working on two shawls for our shawl ministry and one baby sweater for a lady in our choir! Oh, how my kitties love this!

Thank you for your post. After this weekend, I too needed to be reminded of all of that. emoticon

I'm sitting here taking stock this morning. I've let my life's stressors and busy-ness take me down a road I never wanted to get on again. I've gained at least seven pounds (I don't want to check this morning after this weekend!) and I can't remember the last time I worked out. I've DEFINITELY neglected my Church Musicians Team, and I apologize. But I am working on a new attitude today. I wrote a song awhile back that has these lyrics:
Thank you, Lord, for blessing me with another day on earth; whether it be filled with tears, with joy, or pain or mirth. Every single sunrise is a jewel of priceless worth - EACH DAY A NEW BEGINNING WITH THE PROMISE OF REBIRTH!

Today, I am claiming that promise of rebirth!
I am claiming the promises of hope for the hopeless, help for the helpless, and that I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

Just for today, I will track all my food. I will make time to go by the gym and do the elliptical trainer. I will drink lots of water! And I will stay in touch with my higher power to help me accomplish all these desires of my heart.

Will you join me? I know that we can be a great help to each other, if we reach out. This is me, reaching!

Let all you do be done in love.
