As employees they would receive medical care, pay etc. I feel to give beyond that is purely a personal decision and not an obligation.

If they were on-duty I don't see the need for money. Shouldn't their jobs and insurance cover all related costs. It almost sounds like a scam.

Morning Everyone, happy Sunday,

Today's Question?

Looking for opinions here, In a city near where I live, we had a case where two police officers were shot in the line of duty yesterday. They are both going to be alright and have been released from the hospital already and soon will be returning to work. They have set up a fund for people to send checks to for these officers. Do you feel this is necessary in this case?
