Any thoughts on nut or seed replacers? I seem to be intolerant in my old age! At least it's only food I'm intolerant of!!

I am starting my ticker again since starting low carb.

I use a lot of almond flour, coconut oil, whey protein, almond or peanut butter and chocolate for goodies, and a lot of cheese, bacon and cream cheese for savoury recipes. :)

I know what you mean... I've got some "obscure" ingredients kicking around here that were for some sort of recipe.

Looks great - you have a lot of good recipes. Are there certain staples that are common among many recipes that I should look at buying?

Like almond flour, etc? I hate to buy things for a recipe and not be able to use the rest. I love to cook, and have certain staples on hand all the time, but guess I need to re-think my staples to make some low carb goodies.

Thanks!

I did publish a Grain Free Pasta cookbook. However, it's not really low carb. My daughter says I should do another cookbook and I may just do that.
I think I would call it EXTREME Low Carb. lol
Thanks, JLKL1980!

Laura - this is great for the holidays! I look forward to this one.

Girl, if you publish a cookbook, I want to be first on the list to purchase one - for sure. emoticon

Nope. I've seen other recipes that use cream cheese. Anything that sort of consistency would work I'm sure.

That looks good! Does it have to be coconut cream?

I can't believe I'm reading this. emoticon emoticon
I thought my fudge days are over, LOL.
There is nothing you won't try and this is pretty amazing.
I can't wait to try it, just wish I had more time for food prep.
