Planks and squats every other day.
Squats: 30 every other day. Total goal: 390
Planks: 30 seconds each one, possibly reaching up to 1 min. by the end of the month.

7/7 squats 30 = 30
7/8 modified left, rt, and front = 30 sec. each
7/9 squats 30 = 60
7/10 mod. left, rt, and front = 30 sec. each
7/12 squats 30 = 90

Total Plank Goal for July: I'm not sure what to put for this. I think I might try working up to holding a plank for as long as I can at the end of the month. 5 minutes?!

Happy July!!!

This month we are going to have a squat and/or plank challenge. You can choose to do both or just one of these. You can also choose to do any kind of squats and any kind of planks. Whatever you are most comfortable with but that will challenge you.

Bombshelly, do as many as you are comfortable with. I'm trying to do a 30 day plank challenge and I'll be doing them everyday but I seem to forget. I don't like squats but I'm trying to do 500 this month.

Hmmm....this sounds interesting, but I have no idea what to set as a reasonable goal. Currently, I can do a 30 second plank fairly easily. 45 minutes is a struggle. I can do a minute, but dang, it's hard and I really have to focus. I really hate squats. But, I probably should do them, since I'm planning to run a 5K in September. Any suggestions for goals for this challenge? And - are you supposed to try to do the planks/squats every day, or skip days between?

I'm going to do a beginners plank challenge. Start with 10 sec and end with 90 sec in 30 days.
