You and I sound like twins! I'm a an emotional eater with a vicious cycle of eating to feel better for about 10 minutes then I'm so disgusted with myself. My husband has health problems and sleeps all day, so I feel ignored by him. I also am the one that does everything. My car broke down and my parents live next to me and don't even think of me when they go to the store so I can get food. I have a 30 year old son living with me and I still have to take the garbage out and I'm disabled. I also think when I do this I sound like I'm having a pity party which makes me feel worse. I've been diagnosed and am on 2 medications but I feel hopeless (like its never going to change.) PM me if you would like to talk MIZZFIT2. I think we maybe able to help each other because YOU ARE SO not alone!!! Please don't think that.

Well wishes to all,
Charob1980

You are not alone! emoticon

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.

Mistakes are the portals of discovery.

Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

I think that first you need to set boundaries. Clark and Towsend wrote a book entitled "Boundaries"

You are never alone unless you choose to be. We are always here for you - this fantastic team, as well as the Community Mesage Boards. I am a moderator on those, too, and apart from our team, the Panic Button is a great one if you are having urgent issues.

BIG hugs to you, and good luck,
Kris

I wasn't sure what to title this topic because it's really just a slew of things I see that I do that bring me down.
First I should start at when I noticed my problem.
I started losing weight and got down to under 200lbs, but things went to hell in Sept of 2014.
I lost my job and I was feeling a bit happy at first but the new job I have was more hard work and a longer day involved.
Then I started to feel hurt and depressed when I started feeling like everyone in the house was taking advantage of me and always asking for more from me.
My husband
My son
My in-law
I felt like I was the only one doing everything and I was getting pretty tired of it.
I started eating more and just sink down into a hole of watching TV, being on the computer or phone and when ever I could just tune everyone out because of those feelings.
I got frustrated that my husband would sleep most of the day (he has health issues) and on the weekends it was me and my son and I just wanted to sleep or be left alone too.
I'm not sure if this makes sense to anyone else but I'm not sure how to get out of the cycle of feeling like I'm alone and doing this on my own with my situation.
