PATTI, that's why I don't like weighing myself because of that scale. I try and let my clothes tell me.

Since I decided to go from 125 to 120 the scale tells me I'm 126 each day. Go figure!

It's more work to maintain a lower weight, but you may think it's worth the effort. Only you can decide which weight you want and whether or not you are willing to maintain it. I have been maintaining at 10 pounds less than I weighed before menopause. I eat a lot less than before, partly because of the lower weight, partly because I'm older. I like this weight, but next year, who knows? I'm happy as long as I choose my weight rather than being a victim of it.

You're singing my song too. I have shrunk an inch since I first set my goal at 150 lbs. I actually have a new goal of 145 but I haven't quite figured out the precise steps I plan to take to reach it. My activity has diminished too, since 2013 when I had a different work schedule and so also had a different exercise schedule. I sulked all last year but this year I'm going to map out the right routine.

I'm not sure I can maintain at 145 but I want to give it a try.

Sounds like a solid plan! I'm constantly making adjustments in maintenance and I've just come to see it as a normal part of what I have to do to stay on top of things.

My name's Tina. I lost more than 90 pounds between March 2010 and March 2012 and have been keeping if off ever since. Had a baby at the end of April 2016 and am working to get back to my pre baby form, or at least as close to it as I realistically can!

Right there with you. My goal was 120 lbs and gained 5 lbs, so back to the drawing board!

Good luck!

As most of you know, I've been on Maintenance for 4 months. My goal was 125 and since I'm only 5' (actually 4'11" now due to age) even with the weight I've lost, I'm still at 25 BMI. So, I've decided to go down 5 more pounds. Then I'll see if I can Maintain at the new weight and how I feel.

What am I going to do differently?

1. Change my Calorie Goal Range to 1350-1550. That's 150 less than I've been tracking.

2. Increase my exercise intensity. Although I've kept exercising, with all good intentions I know I've reduced the time and intensity while in Maintenance. I was to incorporate at least one interval training and two strength training along with my current (plus) cardio.

3. Look for my clothes to fit just a little better.

4. Review all my goals to reflect the new plan.
