My exercise is the time you are contributing! Total Exercise hours is the teams accumulation of exercise towards that destination thus far! So if you had 53 minutes of walk related minutes..you'll add those to our Total hours!

The race is ON...10 minutes and counting! Here's what was posted in the Main Thread! Lace 'em up ladies and let's get to touring the sites!


Your team is touring Washington DC. While here your team goes on a walking tour of all the sites in D.C. This is a very extensive walking tour. To complete the tour your team must accumulate 20 hours of walking outdoors, walking on a treadmill, or on the Wii by using basic step, advanced step, free step, island run, free run, or WIO. If you attend a step class that time will count as well. Any type of walking counts!
After completing your 20 hours of walking, your team wins an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas. When your plane touches down in Sin City your first challenge awaits you.

Hi guys! This is my first time doing this as well, because I only joined Spark in March. I hope this on top of my other daily exercise regimens will get me out of this plateau I've been at for an entire month now (despite desperate attempts to break out of it).

I will be going out of town in a little over a month with my family for a week or close to it.. so I know that's going to hurt our team but I haven't been on a vacation in 3 years so I assure you I won't have another one any time soon. :)

Happy to see so many checking in already! I too have no problems sharing via text, so I'll be sparkmailing everyone my number tomorrow!

The official race rules have been posted, so if you've not checked them out now would be a good time to gain some basic knowledge of what's going to happen! Things will fall into place quickly so don't let it be too overwhelming at first!

For those who haven't played before there are some things we can do that will keep us moving swiftly during this fast paced race! Of course checking the thread often is the first rule of thumb...everything that goes along with the race depends on everyone working together to complete travel hours and challenges in a timely manner! With 10 Globetrotters and the ability for each person to add 5 hours of exercise daily time to reach destinations adds up quickly! It's suggested to post your exercise as it's completed, rather than reporting all at once at days end, to help us move along and get everyones hard work counting towards the travel!

If anyone has questions I'll be happy to help clear them up before we get started! Getting so excited for the race to get underway! Let's get ready to rock and roll Globetrotters!
