hey girls~!

Krista! CONGRATS! how wonderful. so you are due around May? What a nice time of year.

I have been crazy crazy crazy busy trying to get this school schedule and 3 teams schedules all coordinated. Plus my husband travelling for work.

It seems I am at a plateau. I can't seem to get past 20 lb loss. this is not good considering I have 100 to lose. YUCK!

anyway - the bus is coming - kids schedules take over! I will check in later!

hey everybody! I apologize for the 2 weeks of downtime on my end :) I've been neglecting SP and I'm really starting to miss you!

Things are good here. I've got the usual queasiness and fatigue happening but I'm getting through. I've adjusted my eating from binging on chocolate and junk to drowning myself in veggies and fruit.

I'm also getting in some good quality workouts!! yeah me!

I have my first prenatal exam tomorrow :) other than that... this week is pretty normal!

Hope your day is going great!

Hope everyone is having a great week so far!

Thinking of trying out Turbofire. Well since Insanity didn't work out too well for me :) lol It has a modifier so if I can't keep up with her I can just follow that until I build up my endurance. Just now to find it :)

Happy Saturday! Hope you've had a good week and are relaxing and recharging for a few days :)

Well... ha ha! I'm totally laughing to myself right now.

Remember when I was all consumed and absolutely certain that I was over training??? Well... ha ha!

I just figured out I'm PREGNANT! Again... ha ha!

It all came about when I started feeling queasy around meals and it was like 3 or 4 days in a row. Then my boobs started hurting and suddenly last week I felt EXHAUSTED! So... wouldn't you know! ha ha!

So... I took last week off as I figured it all out. I've been on a junk food binge this weekend and now I'm starting to make a meal plan for the upcoming week and figure out what I'm going to challenge myself fitness wise. I can't push as much as I have been but I also can't spend the next 7.5 - 8 mos sitting around eating junk!

So... any suggestions? What did you do while you were preggo?

During my last pregnancy I was working full time. I would walk our dogs every night for 30+ mins and go to yoga. I'm considerably more fit then that although by 8 mos... that will most likely be exactly what I'll be happy doing!

I'm hoping to keep up with strength training too. Not crazy lifting but body weight and light resistance. I've worked way hard to get down to 175 that I would really like to avoid ballooning out 50 lbs again! A few days before I delivered Kayla I weighed 238!! CRAZY!! I'm hoping to stay under 200 this time :) hopefully!

Anyway... that's my news! ha ha! Still laughing at myself!

Hey everyone! This week kicked my butt. Getting the two older ones ready for school - the first and second days of me by myself with the other 3, phew. I am exhausted.

I have been working out all week, but am falling behind in my numbers. Its ok though, I am tired and my body is telling me it needs a rest.

Tuesday, I swam laps in the pool - it kicked me to the curb! I was EXHAUSTED. I still have to walk/run 6 or so more miles by Monday to have logged 200 miles over the summer (memorial day to labor day!) I WILL DO IT. I WILL.

OK - I am getting this grumpy tushy to bed. good night all enjoy the holiday weekend!

Jill ~ thanks! a shake is a great idea! I'm a nut when it comes to making shakes. I can't believe I didn't think of it sooner!!

It's even hotter today than it was yesterday...!! lol...! brutal!

I did get a workout in this afternoon. I've been focusing on only doing 30 minutes. It doesn't seem like alot but it feels like such a push in this heat, so I'm actually really proud of myself for getting it done. Today makes 5 consecutive days with 30 min workouts each!! Yeah me!

My husband has been on course for the last two weeks and I've been doing the cooking (yikes!). Tonight Kayla and I are on our own and I remembered a really good recipe that I snaked from my neighbor when he started a diet in January (simply for life? heard of it?). It focused on eating lots of fresh veggies, protein - a butt load of chicken breast and salmon, and less carbohydrates than they were use to.

I didn't agree with the "diet" but some of the recipes were delicious!! So... tonight the baby and I are eating Baked Greek Chicken... mmmmmm....!!! as long as I can pull it off, it should be good!!

Oh... and I've got fresh zucchini coming out of the garden like crazy so I'm going into a baking frenzy! Anyone ever try zucchini bread? Is it good?

Krista we had that earlier this summer. Depending on the age of you LO they can have protein like shakes. Here we have pediasure it must be drank very cold. But it helps with the proteins fiber etc if they are not eating so well. Back in July my LO wouldn't eat much of anything except fruit. Good luck tonight!!

oh poop!

I had this awesome post ready and I hit something on my laptop and it all disappeared! POOP!!

Well... there goes my thoughts for today!

I'll do an abreviated version!

It's hot here and I feel like a roasting vegetable. I don't do the heat very well! I did manage to get in my 30 minute workout (30 day shred). It wasn't as motivating as usual and I'm ready for a nap now! BUT... I did workout and it's 39 Celsius here with humidity. They actually posted a heat warning for our area! I believe that's roughly 102 Farenheit? For some, that might not be a big deal... but for us, we usually hit high 20's plus humidity. About a 10 degree difference!!!

It's brutal... my baby isn't sleeping at night (again). We had 4 good nights and now 4 bad nights. She's eating less and drinking more (too hot!) so she's awake at night hungry! GRRRrrr... Anyway... we're making it through. She's napping right now but I'm going to wake her up. I want to see if I can get her to sleep at night, instead of in the afternoon!! Oh... she'll be 1/2 the night and will sleep in to 9 or later in the morning!! How much of a jerk is that? Already a teenager! lol!!

Ok... Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone is keeping cool and getting their workouts in!!

That's great that they have those trails available! We only have 2 in my area, one which I would have to drive to get to and I just want to be able to leave my house and go. My son is good in the stroller, maybe I will just have to get myself out again walking. that is a great start!

HI! I know what you mean about exercise. Luckily for me my LO is great on stroller walks and our nights have been a little cooler. I also got my husband going with me. So we are doing 30 min walks a night. I figure at least that will get me started again. Also our city has a obesity awareness thing going on so they came up with 30 park trails you can walk in 30 minutes which has motivated my outdoors husband to join in on the fun even more. He gets a badge or something he is all excited. I am excited to walk and see the trails. And be out of the house. Good luck with your exercise. I just try to remember that doing anything besides sitting is getting me moving more than normal. Have a great Tuesday!!

Hello ladies!

I can relate with that darn scale. I was down last week and so excited, but then again this morning jumped on and right back up. I need a plan and I need one NOW! I still just find it so hard to make the time for exercise. last night, he didn't go to bed until 11. by then I just wanted to crash. I can't do it in the mornings since I'm lucky I can even get out of bed for work on time. Walking during lunchhour only lasted a little, since it has been incredibly warm and I don't have time for another shower afterwards. UGH!

Looking forward to the holiday weekend :)

Hello!!

Well... I'm totally convinced that I've been over-training so I'm testing the theory! I've decided that I'm going to work on the 30 day shred which is just under 30 minutes 2 days in a row, day three work on a cardio video for 20 minutes and relax to some yoga. Instead of doing it all in one day I'm breaking it up so that it will be a two different workouts.

Over-training for me felt like I was exhausted all the time. Almost like I had no strength left in my body, kind of like you feel just after you get over being sick. I wasn't really sore... just achy all over but it goes away if I take a few days off and gets worse if I push through.

I took 2 days off. Yesterday was a treat day. It didn't start off that way but we ended up going out with my daughter's god father and he bought MacDonald's for lunch. Then we had homemade pizza for supper... I pleased to announce that I didn't stuff myself at supper. I had 2 pieces which I had already planned on :)

We don't have any plans this weekend. Just the usual hanging out, maybe a campfire tonight after a nice supper.

I already got my workout in and after 3 days off... boy, it certainly was tough!!

Kate ~ I understand how you feel when the scale moves. I analyze the numbers too and forget that when I put on a pair of jeans that they are loose or that there's more room in my t-shirts.

Krista - how you doing?

Things are status quo here. I am pretty disappointed with the scale lately. I sometimes hate being an accountant. I analyze soo much and I know it is not the only marker for success, but to me, it is a pretty big one.

Anyway, not much going on this weekend. I am going to the beach on Sunday for the first time the whole summer. Wish me luck - the twins have never been there. I DREAD it, but if I don't go (I live like 2 miles from the beach) I will regret not having pictures of them playing at this age.

What is everyone up to?

Keep Sparking!

Krista - I don't know if that is what it feels like. I would be interested to know though. Next month I think I am going to be doing 30DS OR Blast Fat boost Metabolism. I haven't decided yet. i have never done yoga - but I might pick your brain about that!

I think that working out for 60 minutes is plenty of workout, maybe alternate your yoga and the crazy 5'2 chick every other day and cut it down to 40 or so minutes. See if that helps.

JM is one tough workout. But then again, I like the tired feel I get. I know I will sleep well after a really intense workout!

Can you talk while you are working out? Or is it difficult? That is what I use to measure. If I can talk while I am working out then I am not overdoing it. It sounds like you have been doing it long enough now that you might be able to talk through it. The theory is that if you can talk while you workout then you are working just in your range of exhertion. At least that's how I understand it. Good luck and it sounds like you need a break!

Kate ~ you totally cracked me up!! "We're not peanuts, we're WALNUTS!" lol!! Too funny!!!

Beth ~ congrats on your two days. It is a landmark! A good place to start! And congrats on the weight being down!

I'm taking a bit of a rest day... well... actually I'm starting to feel motivated but I really have to get the living room cleaned before the baby wakes up from her nap. The house is starting to smell like a wet dog!

Anyhow, up until this point I felt really tired all day. I honestly think I might be "over-training". It seems dumb to me though... but my body is just feeling exhausted and I noticed it last week too!

Ok... so why might I be over-training? I challenged myself to do the 30 day Shred (Jillian Michaels) workout in 30 days. 3 levels, 10 days per level, and they recommend that you workout every day. Each workout is roughly 27 minutes in length.

I follow this crazy routine with the Turbo Jam 20 minute workout with Chalean Johnson. Crazy chick that's only 5' 2" tall and can bounce off of walls.

Then I do 10 minutes of yoga. I'm working on 8 weeks toward balance with Rodney Yee.

In total I'm working out 60 minutes (give or take) which is doable... but now that I see this all written out... 50 minutes are high intensity!! Maybe I am over-training!! YIKES!

That would explain why I feel like I just need to sleep but I get like 10 hrs every night! hmmm... and why my muscles aren't sore per say, but feel like there's no strength in my body! Is that what over-training feels like? anyone?

Sorry for the rambling... I just need another opinion. Does it sound like it's a bit much?

I've been doing well the last two days, eating-wise. Got a nice walk in at lunchtime, but I think for today I will still go home, just walk there. My weight was down a bit this morning so I'm hoping its on its way down for good. Hope everyone has a great Thursday!

C'mon Ladies! We're not Peanuts! WE're WALNUTS! WE can do it - we all can.

What is it that you like to do? Start out doing it 2x per week. If you like it - you will want to do it more.

Creating habits take 21 days right? 3 weeks and we will be back on top!

GOOOOOOO team!

Wow! Lots of struggling going on! Makes me feel better to know that it's not a piece of cake for everyone. Sometimes I'd like to thump those few who manage to drop 30 lbs in 6 months! It just seems so superhuman! bah!!

Things are good today. I'm a bit tired. Got in late last night after a rehearsal with the Regiment band. I travel an hour every Monday night to play with a Army Reserve unit. What a way to start a week! It's good but I always feel so tired on Tuesday!!

I did a few errands this morning and I have a batch of chili on the stove. It's starting to feel like fall so I'm excited to about all that batch cooking again!! Yippeee!! Such a fantastic lunch!

I worked out super hard yesterday. It was good. I'm starting to pick up some and find my mojo again. I think the cooling weather is helping! It's been so hard to function in the heat.

Oh... I jumped on the scale and I'm 178. That's down from 182. Yippee!! The 182 was from a week or so ago. Mostly water retention but I burned some too!! Now, to keep going!!!

Good luck on finding you're motivation!! I'm still looking for mine!!!!!!

Ok ladies now I am ending two months of hardly any exercise. I lost my momentum in late June and haven't been able to pick it back up. Any suggestions on how to get back on track. I did run once last week. It was so hard! But I did two miles in 30 min.

I hope everyone elses week goes well!

Well done Kate!! 3lbs is awesome!!!

Kayla and I started our day quite early this morning. I'm just about ready to make lunch, then it's her nap time and my time to workout! I blew off my workout yesterday in favor of playing with my laptop and watching my husband install a deadbolt!! Yup... not a good excuse at all!! Just plain lazy!

It's scheduled to be a normal week... no running around that's needed so I really have no excuse not to be in my calorie range and to get my butt moving!! Just motivation!

Hope you're having a good Monday!!

Hi! Just thought I'd check in! Thanks Kate for your concern. I didn't end up going to get it checked out. I knew by how I felt that it was minor and that a few tylenol and a few rest days that I'd be back to normal! I didn't anticipate to wake up feeling fantastic though! I had 8 solid hrs of sleep and my body must have worked really hard repairing itself because I don't even have a bruise!!!

I felt really good today and was able to work out normally! I even pushed a little and was able to complete 9 "boy" pushups (and 16 modified!!) Yay!!

Bahh... my little one is eating dog food!! She just doesn't stop!! sigh...

Oh Krista I am so sorry. I hope you are ok. My knee is killing me - to the point of a greatly modified workout today - and I didn't fall. I hope that you go get it checked out.

and if you need a laugh, I fell on my knees (doing the Hora) on my wedding day. I was in Hawaii with such terrible bruises I could barely walk for 2 or 3 days. It ALL was caught on tape.

We have a busy weekend coming up. Not anything I even feel like doing. But we see friends of ours 1x per year and it is this weekend. I just don't want to deal with them - they are all super skinny!

Spark it up all and have a great weekend!

Hi Walnut Team!

I started the morning with lots of ambition and got part of the house cleaned until I fell down the stairs carrying a bottle of water. Not just any bottle of water, but one that contains 18.9 litres of water. That's a lot of water to see gushing out of a bottle and rushing across the floor towards all your expensive electronics!!

The good news is that nothing was destroyed. I was up fast and grabbed all the dirty towels and sopped up all the mess. The bad news... now that I've sat down for a few minutes I realize that my muscles are tensing up and I really hurt!!

The brunt of the fall was taken by my knees, then shins, then I must have twisted a bit because my hips and lower back are in the spasming stage.

So my husband got home from work and laughed... Yes laughed! A very compassionate fellow! He didn't realize that I hurt he just heard me say that I started off going down the stairs with 18.9 Litres of water and there is no longer 18.9 litres of water...

Anyway, I was all gung ho this morning and getting things done. I managed to finish cleaning the living room after my spill but nothing else will be accomplished today. Sadly, I was really looking forward to working out hard!! But... I'm not going to put that strain on my knees after falling down 4 steps to land on my knees!

I think today has just become a rest day!

Hi!

We're almost at the end of the week! It's been busy but I haven't been doing too badly. I've worked out every day this week (yesterday was a rest day) and today I really pushed it!

However... I've been overeating. A lot of mindless eating and trying to get back into a normal routine. I feel hungry because I spent a month overeating and it's been hard transitioning back into a good routine.

Beth,

yes I burn 700 calories per day 6 days a week. Sunday is rest day, MWF I do 40ish minutes on the treadmill and Jillian Michaels No More Trouble Zones and on T TH S I run/walk 80 -90 minutes on the treadmill. It is my exercise goal for August. It is hard, but I know in September, my kids are going back to school and I won't have my built in babysitters to entertain the babies while I work out. So I do what I can now.

In September, I think I am going to split up my workouts (hoping to burn the same amount per day) in two pieces so I can run before anyone gets up and do my stregnth training during the babies' nap.

Happy Hump Day to everyone!

It's great to meet you!

you burned 4200 calories???? Wow. Impressive. What is it you are doing exercise wise? I hope your situation gets better soon for you *hugs* That has got to be hard.

My weigh in days are Fridays. But weekends are my hardest days to get through eating healthy.

But now I'm hungry for spaghetti... lol

Hi girls!

I have been crazy busy. (((Waving))) Hi Beth! Nice to meet you.

My weigh in was crappy. I stayed the same. Boo... I have been busting it big time burning calories and literally, I should have lost at least a pound because I burned 4200 calories, but nope. I am hoping for a big loss this week. Sundays are my weigh in.

I hae been having a LOT of issues trying to get my food in. I have ZERO (I mean ZERO) desire to eat. I only got 776 calories in today... I burned 768. I know it is not good. I know it, but I just can't eat and I don't know why.

I am in a bad place with my sisters and I just have no desire to eat right now. I am hoping (and sure) it will get better, so I am not stressing about it too much right now, but it is going to start stalling my weight loss. boo.

Anyway - have a great night! I hope the spaghetti was good!

Beth!!! Hi!!! I was on your Palm Beach team :) lol!! Nice to see you again! Glad you found us!! :)

I completely understand the need to vent. I did that a few days ago. I put everything on "pause" for 3 weeks and just did whatever. The first few days were a push to get back on the horse! You can do it!! Vent all you want, that's one of the reasons we're here!!

I just worked out my 3rd day in a row. I was sore yesterday but I'm feeling better today. Actually my pushups were really strong today so I'm happy about that! I decided to settle on working out with 1 dvd for the next 30 days. With it I do 20+ mins of cardio and I'm working my way through an 8 week course on balance (yoga - home practice). The yoga is probably why I'm not so sore!! :)

Spaghetti for supper... wasn't on the agenda until this afternoon when my husband kept mentioning it. I tend to pig out with spaghetti.... so good!! I'll just get him to make me a big ass salad to go with it and I'll pig out on veggies first!

Hope everyone is having a good day!!

Hi Team! Sorry I'm late, I was on vacation last week. Trying to get myself situated after a bad weekend. Just going through a rough time right now and I'm hoping I can still make all of my weight loss goals. Sorry about the vent, just need to get it out :)

By the way, my name is Beth and I have a 20 month old son who is WAY too busy for me to keep up :) It does get hard sometimes to eat healthy but I'm still trying. Hopefully I can start exercising again!

Jill - honesty is good! Keep it coming! Let us know if you made it out the door this morning for that run. I really hope you did!!

Yesterday I worked out for the first time in 3 weeks. I'm sore... lol!! I love it though. I know that I've moved and I've pushed and it can only get better!! I'll put in some me time again later today when the baby naps and work out the kinks. I can't wait!

Kate - How did weigh in day go? I'm going to weigh in on Tuesday. I haven't been consistent over the last few weeks but I'll go back to weekly weigh ins on Monday/Tuesday.

Krista - hamburgers = protein. Its A ok! tomorrow is a new day with 0 calories at the beginning. You can get right back on track!

Jill - honesty is good - if you ever need a push let me know - I know everyone on this site can achieve their goals if they want to. I need help doing it and I would love to help you too!

AFM - I am incredibly tired! 6 outta 7 and I cannot WAIT for my rest day. Cannot wait. I think that I am pushing myself a bit hard, but I know full well that on September 2nd life and I have known it for the past 2 1/2 months is over! The boys (AKA built in babysitters) go back to school. :(......

So I push now, next month we will reassess. tomorrow is Weigh in day...

When do you all weigh in? Make it a good one! goeing to sleep!

Ok ladies time for some honesty....

I have done spark people two other times. I have gotten frustrated and given up or lost a little and called it good. This time I have been doing it for over 100 days. I have honestly lost 6 give or take depending on the day. I have done Zumba the times just don't work with my schedule and I am so cheap I won't pay for a gym..the excuses go on and on. So today I start again! I got new shoes and running starts tomorrow it is 100 at 6 here so..first thing tomorrow I go!

Good luck to you all this week!

Hello!
I started fresh this morning and did really well. I even took the time to workout this afternoon when Kayla went for her nap. It feels really good to be routine oriented!!
I'm above my calories today though. I did expect this. We had a birthday party to go to and I knew that it would be bbq hot dogs and hamburgers and cake. I had 2 hamburgers and 1/2 a cupcake... and filled up on veggies!! Not too bad. I probably could have gotten away with 1 hamburger, but I won't beat myself up. Tomorrow is a new day and there isn't anything planned but a normal Sunday :) I can't wait!!

Hello ladies!

It has bee a tough week - not fun, but I did work out all week. One last workout tomorrow and I will be 6 outta 7. One of the goals I am trying to accomplish is work out 6 outta 7 days a week - at least for August, but hopefully as a habit.

The fair is tonight. Wish me luck. I think I might not even go. I really have no desire, and the food will be tempting. We will see.

Make it a great weekend!

Hi!

In-laws left this morning and I'm enjoying the peacefulness of a visitor free home!
Food choices for the last 2 weeks have been awful and I know that I've gained some weight! I'm too scared to find out how much!
Tomorrow I'll start back to good food choices and working out. There is officially no junk food left in the house (thank goodness!).
I can't wait to start all over again and feel "healthy"!!
Hope you're having a Happy Friday!!

Kate... wow... that's tough! Sorry to hear that you were having a tough day. Rheumatoid arthritis is no fun, I remember having a friend in elementary with junior rheumatoid arthritis. It was awful! It's been close to 20 years since we were in the same class but I still remember how much pain she would endure. It seemed so unfair, even then. I hope that things get better for your little one.

In-laws are still here. Yesterday I took off for an hour on my bike. They thought I was nuts because it's so hot and the humidity is so high. I kept to the sheltered trails and it really was awesome!

Today, we drove an hour to explore a different city. The morning was disappointing. My husband is from an awesome city that has all the best foods while growing up. The cultures that he was exposed to gave him a fine appreciation of good foods but that isn't possible here. We were hoping that our exploration would prove a good eat.. but there was none to be had :(

However, despite the disappointment in the morning I managed to find the COOLEST zoo in the province!!! We had a blast. Spent 3 hrs or so wandering around the zoo with my tyke who loved seeing all the different animals! It was AWESOME!!

Well... I can't wait till I'm back in a normal schedule and normal food. I've already told my husband that we are cutting out all sugar and salt again. I have had ice cream every day this week and so much chips and wine... I feel so bloated and gassy... bah... I love their visit... I will love it even more to be back to working out and feeling great!!!!!

I think they are all the same! LOL.

My DH doesn't do any form of exercise and my in laws - well - ha! NOTHING. They just don't.

My suggestion - just tell them that they can join you for your walk of they would like, you would love to spend the time with them. However, if they do not want to go, then buh bye!

Keep on doing it for yourself, you might inspire them!

I had a cruddy day. My 3 year old is being evalutaed (for 6 months now) for Rheumetoid Arthritis. She had a flare up yesterday (fever 104.5 and pain in her back and legs). We ended up in the ER for 5 hours last night and then the twins were up at 2:30 am. I about lost m temper at 3 am. I threw them in their cribs closed the door and let them scream for 10 minutes until they fell asleep. I normally don't do that because they wake the whole house, but I didn't care. I was soooo tired.

BUT.... I did get up this morning as it was my older son's birthday and I had to be good to him. I did run 5 miles today - so for that I am proud, but dear Lord, my food choices today were AWFUL!

tomorrow is another day!

Hi!

Well... the in-laws arrived last night. My husband, my father-in-law, and I did groceries this morning. The amount of junk in the cart was disgusting. sigh...

Had a good lunch, followed by fudge! yes, pure sugar in a cubed form mixed with peanut butter! I can feel my pulse pounding... why do I do this to myself!?!?!

I'm looking for time to workout over the next few days and find the time to visit with them. They are a family that sit ALL the time. It's very frustrating. They don't go for walks, or explore, or bike, or anything... neither does my husband for that matter and it is hard to feel motivated to do anything. I always find that if I want to spend time with my husband and his family that I have to come down to their level. I believe that it is partially what started my weight problem besides not understanding the basics of nutrition and healthy living. I don't blame him though... it is my choice to sit with him all day...

Here's to finding something active to do as a family in a province that has little to offer!

Sorry to be a downer... I just needed to vent :)

Hi Girls!

it is very difficult with so many kids, but when your doctor says "find the hour for yourself. You don't have a choice" You kinda do it (if not because you know you have to, but for the sheer mortification of the whole situation).

Since he said that in May sometime, I have busted my butt...if only it were that easy... I do not want to lose my momentum I am hitting 40 this year... gulp.

Anyway - I am here every day - so I will be cheering you all on! Have a great visit with the inlaws and welcome Jill!

Hi Kate,

Wow!! TWINS!! Part of me says "AWESOME" and the other part says "OMG!! TWINS!!" lol... I guess life must be busy!

I've been off on a tangent for the last two weeks. Started when my husband started summer leave two weeks ago. That was followed by 4 days of intense scrapbooking, a trip home to my parents 50th wedding anniversary, then knowing my inlaws will be arriving tomorrow!! I've been eating and eating and eating!! Not much exercising and I feel so tired...

Life will get back to normal next week. My husband will be back to work, the baby will start getting into a better sleep routine, I'll start working out during nap time and things will fall back into place. For now... I'm just enjoying life... and letting myself eat what I want, I'll get over it in a few days and I'll be back on track. I'm not even beating myself up over it :)

So... that's where I am right now. The honest truth!

But... hopefully I can still be an encouragement to you!! You are doing awesome!! 6 out of 7 days is tough and so are family days :) Congratulations!! You deserve a big WOO HOO!!

Hi Krista! My twins are 18 months old... I had 2 on 2.2.09. :)

Congrats on being so close to goal! I am hoping by this time next year I can say the same, that is the plan!

Have a great weekend! I will be checking in daily!

Kate

Hi Walnut team!

I didn't get an email but I noticed that the new teams for August were posted and I found where I belonged! Did anyone else get an email?

My name is Krista. I'm a mom to a beautiful 18 mos old girl. Life is busy... as you know! I've had my share of ups and downs and lately I've been struggling with eating well and exercising. I'm hoping that it's just because my husband is on leave and is home all day with us???

I'm at the lowest weight that I've been since we got married 6 years ago. Actually... I'm 15 lbs away from what I weighed on my wedding day. I'm working towards another 10 lbs loss by the time our anniversary rolls around in September. It's a stretch... but doable!

So, I look forward to meeting you all and working hard over the next month!! Happy weekend!

Bethany - thanks for doing this!

I am Kate this is my first time doing a team challenge! Please visit my sparkpage to see where I am at - I am very very motivated and committed to the process.

In August I am challenging myself to burn 700 calories a day - take in 1/2 my body weight in water - and lose 10 lbs... 10 lbs is huge, but if I don't try I won't achieve anything!

Make it a great day!

Welcome to the WALNUT team!!

For those of you who just happened to find this thread, please do not post on here unless your name is in the list!!! If you received a sparkmail message saying that this was your team then you are in the correct place!

Please check the list below:

This is YOUR group until the end of August. Please post often and motivate and support each other as much as possible. Visit each otherís Sparkpages, give Spark goodies, talk about your day, ask about others, even find ways to challenge each other!!

If you stay connected and involved, you will make some great friends before the month is up! So make the most of the time you have to get to know each other!!!

Again, for those of you who just happened to find this team, please DO NOT post here!!

If you would like to know more information about the BSG (Buddy Support Groups), feel free to contact me. Sign-ups for new groups will begin at the end of August.

Have Some Fun!!!!

Team Leader,
Bethany

ATTENTION: To post to your group, please hit REPLY instead of CREATE A NEW TOPIC! This way no one will miss the other's post! You want to stay in the same thread so that you can keep everyone together!!! Also, there would be way to many threads created and it would become hard for everyone to find their teams!!!
