I discovered something on SP yesterday. I noticed in nutrition tracker Hormel bacon bits. I did a little research: 25 calories per tablespoon. I bought some. Here's the thing. I think I got to 185 in part because I could eat a pound of bacon every morning, haven't had any for a month and the craving has been eating at me. So this morning I cooked a soft egg, and "sprinkled" 1/4 tbsn bacon bits over it for flavor. Yum! Okay, I'm getting some chemicals, but 8 calories and nearly no fat. I think I just discovered a neat treat for myself. If anyone knows why I shouldn't do this, can you wait a bit before you stop me (smile).
