WEll got the work out done, had a glass of water than a coffee with cream and honey. A raisin bran muffing and 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries. Love those blueberries in season and they are so cheap.

I think your BFs sound great. If you feel satisfied and have energy I think that is a good way to judge. I can tell if my choice isn't right for me if I get hungry again before lunch. Seems like including fresh fruit and yogurt helps me. I love bananas but they give me heartburn

today was 1 scrambled egg, toasted bread, coffee with milk (2%), 1 banana and water for medication.

can someone tell me if i'm doing good with what i eat for breakfast? Please i'm open for suggestions.

Well today I ate 1 cup of cereal & 1 cup of 2% milk with 4 oz of orange juice with 1 toasted slice of bread and 1 teaspoon of creamcheese. I did my strength training exercise before I ate....I feel wonderful today.

I didn't eat anything before work, and wasn't able to eat until 9am once at work. But then I had an apple and peanut butter.

You guys are doing so well!

I have to confess...

today, I slept WAY LATE (thanks go to my unusually wonderful family who let me!) and didn't get up until 11am. WOW! As such, my "breakfast" was actually a Subway sandwich at the time that would normally be lunch.

Shame on me....but not really...I LOVED the day!

Today I had a small oj, 2 eggo waffles, syrup and a cup of coffee. It kept me full for quite a while. This was part of the meal plan, I haven't had waffles in forever!

I had 2cups of coffee (which i'm trying to cut out of my diet) and 2 slices of toast with raspberry perserves, which is pretty good since I don't usually eat breakfast.

I am not a big breakfast eater. But I am trying to get into the habit. So I have a slimfast shake in the morning. I dont like to eat in the morning so this gets me going...eventually I will start to eat something other than these. But they are fast and they give me good energy. I eat a small snack about 2 1/2 hours after that. Works for me!!!

Not the best choice, but not the worst either - it could have been a couple of doughnuts! At least you included protein.

The best news is that you are committed to better choices the rest of the day. Some people just throw their hands in the air and throw away the rest of the day over one "not so great" choice. It's just more proof that you are committed to your healthy lifestyle and you WILL be successful!!!

I did really bad this morning. I was really hungry and running late. Didn't have time to grab anything...so I went through Dunkin Donuts and got a sausage, egg and cheese on a plain bagel. BAD, BAD, BAD!!! Now I gotta watch what I eat the rest of the day so I don't go over my calorie/fat intake!!! Wish me luck! emoticon

During the work week, my typical breakfast is oatmeal, an orange and a banana. Then on Saturday I'll have a Thomas' light multigrain english muffin with peanut butter. Sunday is usually a free for all and I'll just eat whatever. I'm usually in a rush to get all of us out the door for church. A lot of times it's just cold cereal with milk which isn't my favorite.

Sounds yummy - I haven't eaten yet, but headed that way now. I feel like scrambled egg beaters (I put sliced green onions and a Tbls. of shredded cheese in mine), some bacon and a grapefruit. That's what I'm feeling like anyway!

Egg substitute scrambled with sliced green onion and 1 Tbls. shredded sharp cheddar. 3 slices of bacon (some of the already cooked microwave brands are actually fairly low in calories and sodium, believe it or not - and I LOVE bacon!), 4oz. orange juice and 1 cup of skim milk with 1 Tbls. Hershey's Syrup Lite (I'm not a fan of plain milk).

Tammi - Are you eating the Thomas' light multigrain? Those are my FAVORITES! Even my picky daughter loves them. She is usually reluctant to try anything that even slightly looks healthy (she's gotten better over the year I've been on SP, though), but she will go through a package of these pretty quickly. I LOVE the fiber count on this one!

This mornings breakfast was fresh fruit loaded:
1 banana
20 cherries
6 meduim strawberries
10 white grapes.

I will have my protien in a bit with a protien smoothie. :) That will be my mid morning snack.

Ah...sounds good. I had scrambled egg beaters today with some green onion and cheddar. A glass of milk and strawberries also were good. I need to add fiber - but it's grocery run time and I haven't been to the store yet!

Today I had a fruit protien smoothie. I like these as breakfast because I can "eat" them on the go.

Todays was:
1/3 cup frozen blueberries
1/3 cup frozen strawberries
1/3 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 cup low fat plain yogurt
1/3 cup skim milk
1/2 cup fiber one
6 ice cubes.

Blend until smooth. This makes two portions. But I drink on it all morning so it counts as breakfast and my first snack of the day. :)
