For me, if I am not super hungry, but I "need" more calories, after a good workout or a low eating day - try foods high in good fats: nuts, almonds, avacado...etc, you only need a little bit to make calories. And good fats help give you healthy skin, hair, etc.

For anyone who's interested, I was bumping around thinking about what has worked for me in the last few years, and I remembered a magazine that really changed how I eat. They now have a web site, and there's good article about how to eat, rather than just the calories: http://www.muscleandfitnesshers.com/nutrit

Multiple studies have proven that going below 1200 cals can decrease your metabolism, so I always try to make myself eat at least 1200. even if i don't want it. i find cheese is a great way to get those cals up there, or ice cream. and usually you don't need a lot... good luck

I know that this isn't the best advice, but when I run into that problem...I have something that I enjoy from the not-so-healty list. :-(

I have a hard time getting enough fat, protein, and fiber in my diet. I try to stay away from high fatty foods, but when I do...I am not getting enough fat!

One day I will get this right!

I eat healthily and I stay away from fatty and fried foods. Spark people says to eat 1200 calories a day but often I'm to full to eat all of it. Is it bad for me to eat less when I'm full?
