I use the rocketfish ones that hook over my ears and I wear the cords in back, it seems to help keep them on. I have tiny ears as well and these are the first ones that I have found that stay put consistently.

I just got my new ear buds from Amazon.com that
DRAGONFLY1974 recommended and they work!!! The first "sports" type ear buds I've been able to wear!

Thanks, DRAGONFLY1974!

I did some research too - I ordered something called Acoustibuds. They fit over your existing ear pieces and have these fin things that look like they will wedge into the ear canal. I'll let you know if they are worth it or not! emoticon

ok....here is the verdict.

I just can't wear earbuds of any kind!!!! My mutant ears will just not tolerate it. Soooooo,
I have found a wrap around the back of the neck kind that the hook over my ears and then the speaker bit which faces forward into the ear canal just lightly sits in the ear. My head is pretty small too so there is lots of space behind my neck and the wrap around part is a bit loose, but the ear hooks and speakers seem to fit fine. The sound quality is fabulous and my ears are smiling....well they would be smiling if they could!

You can check them out they are SENNHEISER PMX 80 SportII
have a look at: www.sennheiser.ca/live/senn/produit/en/101

Thanks again to everyone for your advice!

Wow - I was wondering if it was just me and I couldn't fit them in right!! Mine fall out all the time while I'm running and it's distracting.
Thanks for the post - I will start shopping!

Thanks for the link... I'm always willing to try just one more thing, because wearing headphones when you run or walk is awkward and they fall off if you bend over.

I have tiny ears, not just the canals, but the actual ears too. I found the Sony MDR-AS40EX they have different size earbud fittings and hangars to more customize the fit, plus the sound is good.
They have them on Amazon, the 2nd pic shows the fittings and hangars. Hope this helps.

I can't wear those ear buds at all... they fall right out. If I really "force" them in, they stay in for a few minutes and then fall out after they start hurting.

I had to buy tiny earphones that are on a band to wear over my head. At least they don't hurt.

I got those other kind that come in the 3 sizes and they fell out too, but they might work for you. Good luck!

You can check at Wal Mart or Zellers if there's one nearby too--I can't wear those regular disc-like earbuds at all(ears too small!) but these are perfect. They usually have 3 different sizes.

I have had two different brands,, but don't remember what kinds they were. I know Skullcandy and Bose have them,, I think Sony does too. I am sure there are some other brands out there too. Good luck!

What brand are they? Where did you buy them? I'm in Canada, in a small Northern Ontario town but I do have access online and can go "City Shopping".....wow, you were quick with that answer!

I have that problem too sometimes. You can buy some brands that have three sizes of plastic tips you can change out. The small ones work for me.

I have been cursed with the ears of a two year old...the earbuds of my music thingamabob are too big. emoticon My ears hurt!
Does any one else have this problem? Am I the only auricularly challenged C25Ker?
Are there better earbuds for me to use? I still want freedom of motion and I'd like to still hear the traffic.
Any and all advice short of canal enlargement surgery will be happily accepted.
