Another 30 minutes on that Gazelle this morning and I am going to try another 30 minutes this evening. I can't bend and stretch too much yet, so the yard work is still waiting emoticon

Drug the only piece of exercise equipment I own out. One of those gazelle things, it helped me lose 50 pounds a few years ago. (I broke my leg about 18 years ago and it healed crooked, my exercise is limited to low impact or walking) Put on the music and moved on it for 30 minutes, without pain! emoticon

Did Jari Love - Get Ripped 1000. Used my 5lb dumbbells and completed 90% of every set except the pushups - only did 24 of them. Took guggul & ashwaganda about 20 minutes before starting and did NOT crap out - it's a 60 minute high intensity Cardio plus circuit/compound workout. emoticon

That's REAL good for 1˝ weeks after surgery! GOOD for you! I see you've lost a little more - may it continue!

I did an hour of med-light gardening and 21 minutes of HIIT on the stationary bike.

Today I did laundry, grocery shopped, and trimmed up the rose bushes. Not too bad for 1 1/2 weeks after surgery! I feel great!

I use the tracker for my walking and weight lifting, and now my resistance band usage.

It helps keep me focused and on track. *S*

Today I am playing in the yard, cleaning my house, and maybe srub a window or two. *S*

Star, this is up to you. If you're walking most of that time, you could count it as walking the entire time, just choose the slowest walking time in the tracker.

Play around with that thing a little - it's really pretty cool and anything you put in and think is wrong, you can either change it or delete and start over.

Let me know if you need some help with it. emoticon

now with the walking during the day how would I enter that in the minutes--I usually track by steps from about 5:30am til around 7 or 8 pm. I only counted walking on the fitness min when I would walk 15 min or more at one time. I'm not that great on computer & don't know alot about the trackers

Did you know that the Fitness Tracker automatically keeps track of your minutes from Sunday to Saturday? It does!

This challenge is going to be simple. Do SOMETHING every day - even if it's just for a few minutes or as many as 10 or 20 minutes. You don't have to workout hundreds of minutes per day to get the benefit of working out.

Remember that many of your chores and tasks count in the fitness tracker, too! COUNT EVERYTHING you do. Count the minutes you spend cleaning your home, the minutes you spend working in your yard, the minutes you spend painting, the minutes you spend walking at work, the minutes you spend chasing your baby, the minutes you spend walking your dog, the minutes you spend DOING something – walking, lifting weights, exercise DVDs – EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING COUNTS this week. Please log everything every day – even if it is a couple of minutes here and a couple of minutes there. You’re going to be surprised how it all adds up.

Here’s an example for you: I even count the minutes I spend riding my motorcycle – I list it under Riding Jet Ski because SP doesn’t have a listing for riding motorcycle – yet. I wore my Heart Rate monitor last time I rode & Riding Jet Ski is just about the same in calories burned,

Sitting and thinking about doing something DOES NOT COUNT. Get up and DO SOMETHING.

Try a SparkPeople work out - Coach Nicole has several workouts that last under 10 minutes. You can add many of the Spark Videos to your fitness tracker, too.

If you're using the Spark People fitness tracker, you will have a running total for your reference.

Report in what you've done whenever you'd like - daily, etc.
At the end of the challenge, give your total minutes and/or calories burned if you'd like.
