These conditions are far more common than you may think.

Apart from following your Dr's advice, I suggest that you ask for a referral to a Registered Dietitian, who will be able to help you with your nutrition as it applies to you and YOUR health.

ALSO be aware that a diagnosis of a chronic health condition can lead a person to suffer from depression. It is grief, in a way - grief for the loss of what was (a healthy body!)

Should you start to experience low moods; poor sleep; unexplained lethargy, etc. please talk with your Dr about it. A referral to a Therapist can be very helpful at times like this.

Take care,

I am not a Dr - please check with your qualified Health Professional for a diagnosis and treatment plan

I was recently diagnosed with LPR (silent reflux) along with H. Pylori and Thyroid disease. Very shocking and scary as to i had no idea i had these issues. emoticon I came here to see if i can get some support on these chronic conditions so i can begin my journey to recovery. I have been eating healthy for 2 years along with excercising. Have a yearly physical with bloodwork. Everything was normal until this shocking outcome of this years Dr. Visit. Im devastated beyond belief.
