I'm still walking! I'm actually working on a new route to take me 2 miles for sure. I weighed in last night for the first time and lost 3.2 lbs. I counted that as 3.5 for a totl of 25!!!! Huray, Hurray for me . If I know how to put up pictures I might even be brave enough to do that, wwell maybe not yet, but in a few more lbs.

Gini - 5 is a great streak for starters, walking is DEFINITELY exercise, and an hour-long walk is really good! I wish I had time for an hour-long walk each day.

I missed my exercise today somy streak ends at 5 not really a very good attempt but my first try. I joined weight watchers last night. I'm hoping a more structured environment will help me. I'm going to continue with my exercise ans walking program. I don't know if walking is considered exercise, but I walk for an hour today. Maybe I did exercise! emoticon

Yes, I feel MUCH better. There seems to be a cold incubating between my cats and I. Each time it mutates a little and one of us catches it again and passes it on lol.

Yesterday I did 20 minutes of basic calisthetics and stretching. Today I did 45 minutes of kenpo.

Frodo - hope that cold has left and that you were able to get some rest after your workout.

Hi, Gini - great to see you posting here!

Walking in the rain - mmm, romantic! NOT! We've been having a lot of that here, too. So I sometimes do the stairstepper, or a Leslie Sansone video to get my walk in.

Looking forward to getting back to the gym tomorrow since my wrist is better.

Today is day 2. I did my 60 minute walk yesterday and another 60 minute walk today, in the rain. I also have a 40 min. exercise session planned for today. I'll check backin later to let you know if I get it done. emoticon

I didn't get it done! i HAD 2 1 HOUR PHONE CALLS TODAY AND TIME RAN OUT. i HOPE FOR BETTER TOMORROW

Hi, I'm sort of new here. I'm in this class but haven't been attending. I guess today is day 1 . I walked for 60 minutes. I only walk at 2 miles per hour but I can walk for an hour. When I started it was 10 minutes a week. I'm hoping to get to know some of you to help inspire me to start losing again. See you tomorrow, emoticon

Bah, I'd worked out the other day but then yesterday I was paralyzed by a nasty cold. Fever, chills, extremely runny nose, sneezing, and very much fatigue. I slept in today, but got in about 2 hours of exercise between a run/jog interval set and some yoga.

So... 1. lol

The best of intentions can be squashed by a head cold...ggrrr! I woke up sick. There was no way I could jog. I am also too sick to swim, in fact, the thought of cool water gave me chills. I will see how I feel in the morning, and hope to jog.

I am finished with school and vacation. I did walk on vaca, but not everyday. Like today, too tired from the drive. So I am starting fresh tomorrow.

For those continuing their exercise streaks -- or just starting one. Go for it!

What's your personal best? That's your "streak to beat". Then post how many days of consecutive exercise - whatever kind, whatever number of minutes (20-30 of cardio is good).

Ready, set, streak!
