I used 'My Routine' so there were no scores. I did Deep Breathing, Standing Knee, Triangle 2x, Spinal Twist, Half Moon, and Chair. To get 15 minutes total in the bank I also did Soccer Heading (beg) and got a new PB -- 528.

I would love to do this challenge but because of an injury, I am unable to do most o the poses, but I will work on the deep breathing the tree pose and the standing on 1 leg pose!!

Challenge #154: Jun 26 - Jul 2 Relaxing (?) Retirement Challenge

I'm letting my new entry into the retirement world inspire this week's challenge. Since I always dreamed of retirement as being a fun and relaxing (LOL) time, thought we'd focus on yoga and working to improve our zen-ness. If you are new to yoga you might want to read up on some of its benefits. There are many good articles on SP that explain some of the health and exercise benefits of yoga. Don't spend all your time reading though, you'll need to hop on the Wii Fit to experience yoga first hand. Your challenge is to first do a Deep Breathing to get you in calm state of mind and then select 6-8 yoga poses each day. I suggest you pick different ones from each row on the screen.

Let us know what you do and how you do. Will you have a new favorite pose or a new personal best score by the end of this challenge?

Remember that our challenges are meant to help motivate us all to be active every day and to do a variety of exercises. I write these challenges so that there is a daily aspect. You can still participate if you choose to use your Wii Fit less often. Just adapt the challenge to suit your personal circumstances.
