Challenge #110: Aug 22-28: Back to School

It's that time of year again...summer drawing to an end and schools opening their doors. I think we'll make this an annual challenge with thoughts of all the children returning to school and of the parents who are celebrating the return of a little more quiet during their days.

Sun, Tue, Thu -- The Parents' View

- Do a happy dance to celebrate return to school - Yoga Dance pose
- Pack your child's lunch in lunch box - Rhythm Boxing, do highest level you have unlocked
- Take a deep breath as children return at day's end - Deep Breathing

Mon, Wed, Fri -- The Kids' View

- No bus riding for these kids - Free Step or Island Cycling, you pick the duration depending on how far away school is
- Build up muscles carrying all the books - Triceps Extension, 20 reps
- Sit at your desk - Yoga Chair Pose
- Misbehave and teacher sends you to stand in corner - Yoga Shoulder Stand

Sat

- Free for all - create your own routine today, make sure you add at least 15 minutes into your Wii Fit Bank

Remember if you do not have something unlocked or if you are unable to do a particular exercise, just pick a replacement one.

Most people post their results each day and I think it is fun to do that and check in with the team; but you do not have to do that to participate. If you prefer to post at the end of the week or every couple of days, you can do that. Whatever works best for you really is fine.
