I'm going to set things up a bit differently this year. I will start one thread for the menus. Each week I will start another thread for us to post our water, exercise, fruit/veggie and gratitudes for that week. I'd like everyone to make one post for the week and then edit it every day. That way we won't have to keep hopping between several different threads. I'll set up the first thread probably on Thurs. or Fri. and have an example so everyone can see what I'm talking about. The challenge will run six weeks this time. By then we should have some good habits in place when the late Dec. craziness hits.

I'm really looking forward to this challenge.

I need to get "back on the wagon." I've lost 42lbs. in the past 3 years, had a baby over a year ago at 44, and I've been told I am borderline diabetic AGAIN. I need to loose another 40 lbs., and this time it needs to be a little faster. This would be a good way to get going again.

The challenge sounds good I just may not be able to get to everything everyday as I am taking baby steps in my goals.I would like to participate where I can though.4 or 6 weeks will be good:)

Hi ladies, here's the Nov. Challenge. I had originally planned it as a 4 week challenge - Nov. 1st through the 28th. I think I saw up in the chat that there might be some interest in making it a six week challenge? That would bring us to Dec. 12th. What do you think? It will work either way.

Anyway, here it is:

1. Drink 8 glasses of water a day. (5 points per day)

2. 1 point for every minute of exercise (strength, cardio, yoga, Pilates, whatever).

3. Eat your 5 fruits/veggies a day. (5 points per day)

4. List 5 things you are thankful for. (5 points per day)

5. Leave an comment on another mommy's page. Especially if it's one you haven't seen active in the team lately. (1 point per day)

6. Plan a healthy Holiday meal using Spark Recipes, even if you can’t actually cook the whole thing. I know how that goes – we have anywhere from 4 to 8 households contributing to our Thanksgiving dinner. (50 points)


Weekly winners on the daily challenges get a Spark Goodie. Overall winner will also get a Spark Goodie.
