I'm almost done with "When Rabbit Howls" by Truddi Chase. It was a book my son had to read for his psych class about a woman with 92 personalities and her journey of discovery of the abuse she endured that triggered "the troops".

I really enjoy Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. They're fast reads and quite amusing. I love Grandma!!!

If the journey was easy I wouldn't appreciate the benefits I reap.

I recently started "Founding Mothers" by Cokie Roberts. It's a slow read, but good for when I'm on the treadmill and not going too fast. I also enjoy what I call 'mindless' novels - quick reads. But I'm particularly partial to spy and mysteries. emoticon

I always like Dean Koontz for my creepy reading. Although, I gotta tell ya that Kathy Reichs has ventured into the creepy area a couple times. The book I just finished, Fatal Voyage, is creepy.

I like Stephen King, but can't always read his stuff. The Cell freaked me out so bad I didn't want to use my cell phone (not that I use it anyway). Pet Semetary swore me off King for a while, but I loved The Stand.

A Big Little Life by Dean Koontz. About his dog Trixie. Trixie was a cool dog. Not as cool as mine mind you, but pretty darn close. emoticon

I have been informed by Amazon that Kathy Reichs newest has been shipped, but I kinda screwed up. I was going to read Grave Secrets next, only to discover I didn't have a copy. So now I'm waiting.

And classes started today so I'll be even slower. Unless the Orthopedic surgeon tells me recovery from my shoulder surgery will force me to drop the class, then I'll have all kinds of time.

Please let me be the person my dog thinks I am.

Received my BOMC2 yesterday Patrica Briggs, Bone Crossed. I had not read anything by her, vampire, weres of various sorts, so far I like it. If this sort of fantasy is your cup of tea you will probably like it also. I got the authors name from the bookworm list in Spark People.

Finished both Jefferson Bass books, highly recommend them to any who like P. Cornwall or Kathy Reichs. I got an email from Mystery Guild that another of my books are on the way. I think it is the last Reichs book 206 Bones. Now on the last of the J A Vance library books. "Birds of Prey" Another J P Beaumont
mystery. My box of TBR books has been sitting idly by as I read the ones from the library. Most of the TBR ones are from yard sales or library book sales and not as riveting as the ones I just borrowed from the library.

Finished the Danforth Series and read a Beaton book, Hamish Macbeth Mystery, Death of a Witch. Now half through J A Jance, Fire and Ice. Have to go to library and see what else I can add to my TBR list. I am having problems figuring out where stuff is in the NY library. Ones I call mysteries are not in that section. I will look in the plain fiction section and see if I can find anything on my author lists.

8 to go. Have all of them. Bought a bunch of paperbacks at a yard sale in Florida last year and finally getting around to reading them. Not my usual cup of tea. I just skip the sex parts and get back to the plot. Or maybe the sex parts are the plot and I just don't get it. lol.

Have any of you read Phillip Margolin? His first book was "Gone, But Not Forgotten" - I totally recommend these, if you are looking for mysteries that you cannot put down. Start with this one, and then follow down...there are some re-occuring themes, and some that are complete reads. I also like anything by Jodi Piccoult. Happy and exciting reading to all...Sue
