I know my favourite team isnt an English team and isnt in the Premier League, but I would love to share.

My favourite club is Inter Milan.
They had a fantastic season and were very successful.
They won the Italian league, the Italian cup, and the UEFA Champions League.

It brought tears to my eyes when they lifted the Champions league trophy! I have been waiting so long for that moment and finally all their hard work payed off. Congratulations to Inter Milan on a very successful season. Especially after all the criticism they have received in recent years, particularly about their performances in Europe. I am extremely happy and cannot wait for the 10/11 season. Forza INTER! emoticon

Yes, I listened to Tottenham/Man City on Satellite radio on the way home from work yesterday and then caught part of the replay on the way in this morning. It sounded really exciting. Glad to see someone other than the "Big 4" get a shot at Champions League action next year.

Yes, we are very happy to see Newcastle on their way back up! Looks like each time I check the table, Sunderland is moving down, safe, but 13th right now.
Just finished the Tottenham/Man City game and it looks like money doesn't buy a team, only players! Totteham won and onto Champions League next season.
Being a native NY'r, I grew up on baseball, but my husband is from Belfast, so the kids have always had a foot in soccer and I'm hooked as well. World Cup here we come~can not wait!

Cathy - I'm still looking for a team to call my own. I guess out of this year's EPL I liked Wolverhampton the best and even though they will finish well down in the Table, I think it has to be considered a successful year for them. I root for the teams that were good (and thus on one week tape-delay Public Television here in MD)when I was a kid starving for any news about the great sport of soccer. That's why I am glad to see Newcastle returning to the Premier League next year, and possibly Nottingham Forest. I'll also be thrilled if perhaps my favorite team, Leeds United, moves up from League 1 to the Championship League.

I've been on and off Spark for a couple of years, but never tire of checking on the soccer fan site!!

SUNDERLAND will finish up 11 or 12 and hopefully top ten next year. Steve Bruce is going to get them there.
Family favorite is ManU and it all comes down to the last game. Should be a VERY intense day for EPL fans world over.
