Kudos Amy, on reporting in! Like you... I am already a GREAT water drinker!

Whew! Thank goodness I have at least ONE effortless healthy habit! LOL

P.S. I rolled a six today. And I have to say... everything felt like a huge effort today. Because of THIS challenge, I managed to do eight minutes of exercise. (I know that sounds puny, but without this challenge, I would have done ZERO!)

Tomorrow's gonna be BETTER!

I drew a 2. so, i did 2 extra mins on rebounder for a total of 32 mins! I already drink water so i dont keep up with how much i drink. I guess i should start. Have a great rebounding day!

great job all. I had a 9 and did 9 on my rebounder, even after a spring popped off at 7 minutes :( so my rebounder is not down for the count, don't think I can fix it as one spring broke last monht and now the set next to it popped...and I am NOT taking it personally :) it was a cheapo rebounder and I am thankful it lasted as long as it did!

Hi Gals! I worked out yesterday. I forgot to pull out a card. But I managed to go longer anyway and had no headache. Didnt work out today woke up sick. :( Im already feeling a little better but not up to doing any rebounding. Oh well! Theres always later and tomorrow too! Glad to hear you ladies working hard on the challenge too. Keep up the good work everyone!

Yay! My dice roll was a 10. (Rebounder not out so I chose a Leslie Sansone video and jumped in on Mile 2 (where they are at an accelerated speed).

I'm on target for my 10 glasses of water. I only have one more 8 oz to go!

GREAT Job Amy-it is a little hard getting back on the rebounder when you have been off of it for a while, hence the headache and big cheers for the way you handled it! I bet in no time you will be able to bounce without the headaches and keep on it.
I will be using cards because we have no dice :( well we did but my sweet furbaby got a hold of the game they were in and only one remains!!!

Amy! Glad to have you "jump" into this challenge!

So sorry about the headache, but very proud of you for altering it to keep your 7 minutes going! THAT'S what it's all about: altering to fit our unique situations, but sticking with doing SOMETHING for consistency! Always, always listen to your body's signals.

Yeah, I chose the dice because they were already out and next to me too! LOL

Ok. I got my deck of cards out, simply because there were right there. I drew a 7. I hadnt worked out on the rebounder in awhile, so I tried adding 7 to the work out I had been doing. I tried. I had to keep slowing down & getting off the rebounder and walk around a little bit cause I was getting a headache. Oh well, I least I kept moving & Im gonna try to keep working at it to wear there is no headache and I can make it without having to get off so many times. Thank you for this challenge! I needed it! Happy Rebounding!

Hello Team-it is October 31st in the land down under and soon to be everywhere else in the world! This day signifies lots of candy to most-luckily not here, Halloween is not overly celebrated here so no candy temptations put before me, yay for small victories!
Of course this does mean that the major holiday season is now upon us (or for some started last month as retailers seem to rush right to Christmas at the first sign of fall).
Lots of food related events, work parties, family get togethers, church functions-all of it seems to revolve around food. If you must participate in these functions with a plate of food in your hand take tiny tastes of anything laden with creamy sauces, fried etc...and load up on the fruit and veggies if available, or better yet you bring a platter of healthy goodies!
Try to eat something healthy and filling before attending any event.
Drink lots of water!!!

Speaking of water that is part of our challenge this month and next-This will be an ongoing challenge throughout the holidays until January1st!
It is a 2-fold challenge made up of a couple of ideas from our members.

It is centered around the roll of the dice-(go scrounging through those games and find you a set of dice) if you don't have dice a deck of cards maybe (J-10, Q=11, K=12). Either roll the dice to get your number for the day or pick a card out of the deck blindly.

Ok so you have your number for the day: Let's say I rolled 2-6's or drew a king from the deck, my number is 12- you need to do 12 minutes of Rebounding that day (suggested challenge is in the morning and again at night so if you are feeling frisky go for the 2-fer). If rebounding is not an option right now then pick an exercise you can do, dance-step up and down stairs or a step-whatever it is: GET MOVING-and this is an EXTRA 12 minutes on top of what you already do!
Where the water comes in to play is that you must drink 12 glasses of water that day-8 is the minimum required so if you roll a snake eyes or another low number use that as your additional amount, so if you already drink your 8 and you roll a 7, ha guess what, you need to drink 7 more glasses that day!!!!
You can come back here and report what you did that day-minutes and what exercise, if you went for the 2-fer and if you got your water in.
Again this is for November and December to get us through the holidays!
