I guess I will make an exception and go to a Starbucks at least once to try that iced green tea drink! You make me CURIOUS! LOL

The only iced green drink I've had before was from a Panera's. Don't remember anything significant about it.

Congrats on your good run yesterday (last night)! It seems to me that I read that running on the rebounder is MORE of a workout than running on pavement. I'll have to keep my eyes and ears open to see if I can run into that info again and then share it with you...

I got the tea at Starbucks! I think I'm going to start drinking it during the day (making it myself). I think it did give me the energy to do it. Usually I'm just so tired at that time of day.

the interesting thing was, I went for a run tonight and it was a really good one. I was surprised because I hadn't run in a few days and that's usually not good... then I remembered that running on the rebounder used to really help my running back in the day. I quit doing it because I started getting a knee injury, but now I'm going to a gym so I have that under control.

Margaret!

I don't remember your sharing your cat story. Sounds so cute! (I think I remember Sarah mentioning her cats/kittens on her rebounder though. And maybe Julia?)

Good for you... Getting on your rebounder for 30 minutes after getting home LATE. You DIDN'T give up. Maybe there's something to that iced green tea! Try it again and let us know if it happens again. And then let us know where you get that tea!!! I need all the help I can get.

Okay, this is an RV travel day for me today! (Not home to KC, though, until this weekend.)

LOL, I'll have to try that with my sister's dogs when they visit.

Last night I did 30 mins of jogging on the rebounder. I had gotten home too late to go out and I was so irritated... so somehow I got up the energy to do it. Usually I just give up. I think it was the iced green tea I had beforehand LOL that motivated me. I'll have to remember that.

AWESOME MARGARETONEAL! :-)

One of our dogs liked to get on the rebounder with us - a German Shepherd - she'd put her ball on it - and we'd kick it off, also - to play with her. LOL!

Presently - I'm having to get back in the groove - hopefully this final week in MAY! And head for June consistency again!

Keep rebounding - post when you can! NOTHING is "under" as far as meeting ANY goals on rebounding! There's so much good benefit from just the 2 minutes - that that is WONDERFUL, Too!! :-)

I'd love to hear about your progress - whatever rate you are progressing at - with whatever rebounding goals!!

Otherwise - I'll keep posting and you all can just read mine! LOL! ;-)

I've actually rebounded more in May than I have.... for a long time. I'd post my totals but they're underwhelming LOL. Still, I'm pleased.

I can't remember if I've posted this before or not (so forgive me if I have), but my youngest cat is fascinated by it and will hop up on the trampoline while I'm jumping. I jumped pretty hard today and I don't think she cared for that so she hopped off, but normally she's gnawing at the bouncing edges, trying to figure out how to take it apart (good luck with that). I figure if rebounding is good for me, it ought to be good for her... although I think I'll just do a health bounce with her next time. I didn't jump long, but I probably overwhelmed her today.

I wish my old, arthritic cat would bounce with me. maybe I could get her off of her thyroid meds LOL. All of my cats love to hop up on the rebounder. Two of them (I have 3) love to paw at each other on it. One sits underneath and the other sits on top and they can see each other and they reach through the holes at the edge and torment each other LOL.

Wow - a whole week and no rebounding!! Sigh....

However, I have been walking with pup nearly every day for 45 minutes.

And then we had college graduation celebrations and travel and Mothers Day this weekend.

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend - celebrating anything along those lines - OR made some progress toward goals they have!

I'm back in the saddle now - and have both walked 45 minutes AND rebounded 10 min!!

Woo HOO!

Way to GO, SUSY!! I AM proud of you!! :-) emoticon emoticon emoticon

Yep - that putting away and getting out can get to you! No different really - than in a four-wall-stay-in place house - just more concentrated and itty bitty space - and seems like everything is involved in short timeframes instead of some things being involved with longer time frames in between!!!

Really excited you had conversation with someone who was interested in trying the rebounder!! AND that you REBOUNDED!! AWESOME!!!

My update for exercise: Sunday 10 minutes
Monday no rebounding
Tuesday - pending! ...need to get to it!! will update soon! :-)

Please! Don't anyone faint!
I rebounded today! LOL

I pulled out my rebounder from behind my couch the other day when a fellow RVer started talking about wanting one. I brought mine outside so she could experience it. I showed her the health bounce and talked about the benefits. After I brought it back inside, I bounced a little more! Yay!

Today I saw her again, but she said she simply cannot find any room in their RV to put one.

But... I actually re-activated my Westminister online Chime and rebounded about 7 times today for three minutes each!

It didn't just feel great -- it felt SUPER-GREAT!

But guess what? I have to fold it up and put it away again. We are moving our RV in the morning to go get it inspected. Yep! Just like a car.

I will admit that I'm not finding it all that fun to keep stowing EVERYTHING away so frequently. (I probably shouldn't be complaining about such a pesky little inconvenience!)

Anyway, Connie, I knew you'd be proud of me! LOL

And I am PROUD of you too! You've really increased your consistency, as well as upped your goals! GREAT JOB!!!

May 4th - Friday = rebounding 10 minutes = Almost had to tie myself to the cellerciser to get it done!! I kept finding - "One more thing to do" before getting on it! LOL! FINALLY just hung on to my balance bar on the cellerciser and looked at the clock counting each minute until I got through the entire 10 minutes! Just so much to do - but at least THAT busy day - I took 10 to the good for me!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

May 1st = no rebounding! :-( didn't do it first thing - and the day was gone!! :-(

May 2nd Tuesday = rebounding 20 minutes!! :-) Inversion 20 minutes.

MARGARETONEAL - 2 days is GREAT!
I keep wanting to quit and beat myself up - honestly - when I go 2 or more days w/o rebounding. But then I remember how good rebounding is for so many things - that I get back on focus...figuring if I just keep starting again - enough times - I will actually be consistent at some point!! And...I finally got there for April!! Not every day - but I was more consistent than I've been for several years...with exercise. The icing on the cake is - that I also was consistent with nutrition in April, too!

While exercising is tough to be consistent in for me - doing both with consistency is nearly unheard of in my life! LOL! ;-) So April was a huge improvement - and I'm still enjoying that accomplishment!

However, I am still excited about improving in May - even though I missed the VERY 1st day!! That's ok - I got the 2nd one!

Let's keep trucking and moving forward!! emoticon emoticon

Well April was lousy for me due to volunteer commitments, but I put my rebounder by the sofa and I'm realizing I can do a health bounce when I'm really tired... so I've done it two days in a row. We'll see if it continues...

Susy found that May is recognized as Exercise is Medicine Month...welp - rebounding is definitely exercise!!! emoticon

Anyone interested in joining in making efforts at "taking their medicine" regularly this month???

Whether we lurk - or post - it's great!! as long as we are moving toward better health decisions. However, b/c this is a rebounding thread...the hope is that we can have rebounding as part of our routine of healthy applications! emoticon

I did better at consistency in April - that's after lurking and trying again and again for months and months. For May - the goal is daily rebounding still = and making my 10 minutes or 20 minutes - more intense, greater "oomph" and upping a bit on the speed of some things. Still probably mostly freestyle rather than following any video.

Hoping others will join and post along the way - if not - I'm still jumping and loving it!! :-)

emoticon
