Hey, great job, Heather! Woo hoo!

Not an easy time to get much of ANY exercise... So kudos to any and all who ARE exercising!

My rebounder got covered up again with wrapping paper, bows, gifts, etc, etc.
So I haven't done any bouncing lately. (I have been working out at Curves though.)

And since I am hosting Christmas dinner HERE on Sunday, my rebounder is about to get all cleaned up! Yay and Yippee! I'll be back to bouncing soon!

I just could not get my mojo moving in the right direction today. Did some major heavy duty cleaning. Almost all day (6 hours). Majorly tired now and just gonna let this body recuperate. Have to start this challenge again, tomorrow.

Hey Susy the congrats is just a tad bit premature..I will be graduating in May 2012. This semester just ended Med Surg ll and now onto Peds & OB oh my..

Confession Time:

Round 2 isn't going so well for me. In fact, I haven't even gotten started. Wah!

I still plan to DO a Round 2, but I think my 10-days had better start once I get started!

And I could give you every excuse in the book as to WHY I haven't gotten back to rebounding, but I can only use THIS excuse at this time of year: Because I keep laying Christmas presents on it that I either need to wrap, or have gift-wrapped already! How's that for a novel excuse?

I jumped this morning while watching Good Morning America. I was very playful with the jumps, lol, almost like when I was a kid jumping on the bed..Just a fun jump workout..

Oh my GOODNESS! I'm looking at your trip to Norway that's rapidly approaching!

Hope it's for a vacation or something and not work--or that you can make it fun while you're there if it IS for work!

As for easily getting side-tracked... That's so easy to do!
Really good music seems to keep me going longer than following a DVD for rebounding.

I'll be completely honest here: I bounce to the beat of a different drummer! By that I mean, I don't do 100% of what they do on the DVD. (Sometimes the DVD just plays on the TV screen while I do my own thing because I've lost interest in what they're doing! LOL)

So I was trying to think of what would make me more, um, compliant. Maybe if there were two different dialogues for every exercise routine. There's the one that's actually on the DVD, and the trainer is explaining what to do. But MAYBE there could be an alternate dialogue where they get humorous and be more conversational--which I understand wouldn't be appealing to e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e. I know... I know... it's probably just not cost-effective, etc., etc.

Or I could just mute my rebounder DVD and play whatever I want on another device.

Overall, if I COULD stick with all the moves that are done on this particular DVD, I'd have to rate is as pretty good. I think it's just me.

But... LOL I just know that it's challenging to complete challenges that are too long or require a lot more minutes than I know I'll do.

Good evening everybody...I missed posting yesterday, but I did jump. Had our last nursing unit exam this morning whew!!! I am celebrating big time. Jumped with the roundlady and got some major sweating done w/Zumba. The cold rain here in South GA kept me indoors today..

I love this challenge, it is a great warm up. I plan to use the tramp for an indoor jog on tomorrow.. We'll see if I make it.

Glad to see you Susyinkc. Your idea of this challenge as a continuum is fantastic. Accountability works for me. Thank you and everybody so much.

Speaking of which... I bought them a kid's rebounder for one of their Christmas presents!
The brand says "stats" and I bought it at Toys R Us.

I'm thinking they're REALLY gonna like it!

Hey Margaretoneal- Every bit helps and anyway that you ca fit it in works..Kudos to ya for keeping it moving!!

I used one of my old favorite youtube videos twice as a routine today. It was good company for me. Also did zumba flat abs dvd..I just love that one. Maybe DH will catch my subtle hints for the Zumba 2 collection lol.

Unfortunately I had too much going to today: hair cut after work, thunderstorm, etc. and now I'm late for bed, but I'll get back on it tomorrow. I did 40 mins on my stationary bike so at least I did something today.

that's a great idea about the infocommercial. Last night I squinted while watching a tiny video on my phone. I knew if I watched something that I'd last longer and it really helped.

Now that I am moving and momentum is is full force, fitness time has been built into the Holidays. Kinda feel like that new Target commercial lady in red. She cracks me up!!

Our little family (Me, DH and the dog) is not too demanding. DH actually won't get in until late tomorrow or early Thurs. I have made arrangements for our little community park to be open for me on Turkey day so that I can do my own Turkey Trot. Five mile run/walk/jog workout prayerfully. Whatever the outcome I will be out there.

Yay, Connie! Feels GREAT, doesn't it?!

Yippee, FewcherNerse! Yeah, I think whatever you have playing in the background while you jump is a MAJOR contributor to how your workout goes!!!

So with that thought in mind... today I jumped longer and put more into it when I pulled up some YouTube songs: Pointer Sisters and Patti LaBelle. (I'm So Excited and New Attitude)

I played them twice through because I just wanted to keep dancing, er, bouncing!

I will say this: Tomorrow I work at Curves half a day, and then have to go to the grocery store. Whatever I have left to do on cleaning and / or beginning my cooking for Thanksgiving company for Thursday will take precedence.

But PLEASE, team mates, PLEASE... look for me and don't let me fade out!

"I'm So Excited" how my "New Attitude" is getting me back to rebounding!

GM everybody- this morning I used the Insanity Infomercial as my motivation to get the rebounding in. Call me goofy but the minutes ticked by so quickly while I was jumping and watching. Sometimes I found myself trying to dig deep when the participants were giving their testimonies.
I was sweating in less than 5 minutes and this wasn't even in the plan for today. Using the ZUMBA dvd workout was the plan, but the infomercial worked. Of course I did not buy it and this is not an endorsement of that product. Just saying motivation to workout can come from the weirdest things.

Anyway, this was a great warm-up for my interval track workout. The Albany Jingle Bell Jog is on Dec 3rd and I plan on crossing the Finish Line with my bells jingling! Ok, well off to the track.

this is a good, doable idea. I think I'll try it out. I just dressed, laced up for a run I badly needed... and it's raining, sigh. I may start today too. Let me think about it LOL.

That's great, Beth! I wish I could start today, but with the news of our house selling this morning, and we have to be MOVED out this Thursday... I'm in panic/stress mode! LOL

Anyway, one more detail on this challenge:
For those who need to modify it to fit their circumstances, please do!

The ultimate point to this 10 Day "Get-Back-on-Track" mini-challenge is... to get back on track! However you need to do that... more minutes... less minutes. Just get active.

Ok, I started today. I jogged for 20 minutes on my rebounder, I have moved it next to my office chair so I have no excuses. This is my first workout in a month. I previewed the Cathe After Burn today from her low impact and plan to do that one this evening. So far this looks to be a very good series.
