I've done 8 Disney Cruises and I live in Canada! Love cruises. super fun. On Disney I like the service and the safety. My kids can run around the ship and I know they are ok. I love the cast members and the shows are fantastic. I've been on the Magic, Fantasy, and the Dream. I haven't been on the Wonder yet, but one day.

I've done one Carnival cruise. To say you can get the same cruise experience with them as on a Disney ship is like saying you can get the same Disney theme park experience at Six Flags. They aren't even close.
But yes, it's really expensive. Tho bear in mind that dining is included, so that needs to be calculated into the figures. We got lucky last week and we got a very heavily discounted last minute deal. We were scheduled for a week at Ft. Wilderness, so it wound up timing out perfectly by wiggling our plans a bit.
In the end, I know a lot of people spend DVC points on it. But I'm not in DVC, so I don't know what the conversion rate is.

I've never done it either. It is on my bucket list. But the reason I haven't is because it's too expensive for me. Even w/DVC points, I couldn't swing it.
I'm guessing most Disney fanatics, would say it's worth it. I'm

I want to run all the races!

Never done one, but it does seem really expensive. But it's Disney, so maybe it's worth it. I have several friends who do Disney cruises and they will happily fork over the money because they really love the experience. I'm kinda eyeballing their Alaskan cruise, though probably not for a few years.

We just got back from doing the four night cruise on the Magic. We have cruised twice before, tho not since 2008. We love the ship, but only went because we got a very heavily discounted, last minute deal. It is normally pretty expensive.
Have you been? Do you think it's too expensive, or does the fact that all food is included balance out the price tag?
