I wanted to complete two, but I only did one. Maybe next month I will complete another. I really don't have a deadline, just need to be happy with what I'm sewing as it is an outlet for me.

UFO's took a hit for me the last couple of weeks. The Row Robin has consumed me as well as making crafty items for the church bazaar we are having. I've just been zipping though those kitchen boas. HOpe they sell well. I"ve also been spending time on Pinterest and other sites, looking for crafty things to make. Those jean bags I made flew out the door and I am afraid we are jeanless here at the house. And I dont want to spend money buying them. Waiting for the church yard sale I guess. Looking forward to April. We are going on a Viking Cruise, April 26 for 2 weeks. I already bought my German fabric in 2017 so dont need to look for a quilt shop unless it is staring me in the face. Three more days to work on those March UFO's. The month is so long, I forgot what I needed to do. Today is Row Robin day. This year, I hope to pull out Ripples and Reflections and get that darned quilt finished. Carol

I wanted to finish two projects this month, but it looks like it will only be one. I am quilting much less this year and several of the tops I pieced last year still need to be quilted. I probably won't start quilting another until later next month. It really doesn't matter when I quilt them, just that I do at some point!

Meg, is the glue along the place where the rings are? If so, you could get a wide piece of white grosgrain ribbon, attach at the top of the shade and then sew to each ring on the back to help camouflage. Carol

Well I finished the 3 office shades. I now have to finish the single guest bedroom shade. The office shades turned out great as long as there's no sun shining on them. Once that happens the glue (recommended AND used by the place I got the video from) shows up as orange dots on the shade when there's sun behind it. Can't tell when it's just hanging there. I am so pissed off. But they're done and I'm not redoing them immediately. They also recommended a different glue so I'm going to try that for the last one. And if it does the same thing, then I have a project to redo at some point. But not today.

Using the new Bernina is a good thing. We learn more when we sew more! I will knock out the Stash book quilt today and also Good Fortune, I hope. I had brought Ripples and REflections with me and hope to at least take it out of the bags and determine what I need to do. I ought to be able to do a bit on it. Carol

I am quilting the center of RR to California now. I am using my new Bernina and so far so good. It is surprising how little adjustments make a big difference. The machine is positioned better in the cabinet and it is handling bulky seams much better. I am just meandering the center. I will do something a bit fancier in the borders where I have solid colored fabric.

Carol--have fun at the retreat!

Sounds like it will be a productive quilting month. After all it is National Quilting month (isn't it?). It should be our big push before the summer hits and quilting is decreased for some.

I'm going to tackle quilting and finishing Rocky Road to California first.
