We will start Friday, March 1st. Fridays will be called Funday Friday. Friday will be our nutrition game day. Each day of the week will have a different theme. Ideally, we will all share ideas and those ideas will motivate each of us in ways we might not have thought of doing. Our sticky topic will be 'Health Challenge.' The days will have the following themes:
Menu Monday--what is on your menu? You can share just one meal or several. The idea is to think ahead and plan and perhaps we might want try one of those ideas that someone else does.
Tasty Tuesday: What is cooking? Share something you are making. You may even decide to share a recipe or link to something. Perhaps you are trying a new ingredient or using a fun kitchen gadget. The idea is to get us making healthy meals and share ideas.
Willpower Wednesday: Let's have will power today. Can we pass up an unhealthy treat? Can we decide to take a walk instead of nap? Celebrate that healthy choice today and let us know what you are doing.
Tip/Trick Thursday: This will be more of a nutrition/exercise information day. We will focus on one idea. There might be links to get more information or ideas on the topic.
Funday Friday: A nutritional related game
Substitution Saturday: Share a healthy substitution you made today.
Successful Sunday: Today we celebrate or successes. Tell us if you lost weight, clothes fit a better, you made some good choices, you met your exercise goal etc.
We can experiment with this plan in March and decide if we will continue it after the trial.
