You can also check the book out of the library. That's what I did and I took notes on the main important parts.

Thanks for the link. I found the direct link a post or two up from the orignal post. I ordered a used copy of the book from Amazon yesterday and got word today that it's been shipped. I can't start the jumpstart until next week anyway, because I need to shop first. I hope this works. Maybe my belly won't hurt all the time.

Thank you so much ladies, this is a great help. I have not been able to follow the Flat Belly Diet because I don't have clue where to start.

I really need to get the fat belly under control. LOL

Any additional tips and help would be greatly appreciated.

Have an awesome day.

God Bless.

I typed up the instruction from the "flat belly cookbook" for those that do not have the book

Sassy Water

Combine 2 liters water (about 8 ½ cups), 1-teaspoon freshly grated ginger, 1 medium cucumber (peeled and thinly sliced), 1 medium lemon (thinly sliced), and 12 small spearmint leaves in a large pitcher and let the flavors blend overnight. Drink throughout the day, and finish the pitcher by the end of each day. Sassy Water is an integral component of the Jumpstart; you don’t have to keep drinking it after the fourth day, but many Flat Belly dieters do—it’s a great way to stay hydrated. Here are a few tips to keep in mind.
 Drink a new batch every day using fresh ingredients.
 Feel free to omit any ingredients you just don’t like.
 Use any type of fresh mint (peppermint, pineapple mint, ect.), but don’t substitute dried mint or mint extract, both of which are very unpleasant in water. The same is true for ginger: It must be fresh, not dried or powdered.
 Strain the ingredients, or pour them into your glass along with the water (they do look pretty), and eat them if you’d like. A whole medium cucumber has just 24 calories, so you won’t slow your weight loss by eating the slices.
 If you find the flavor too strong, prepare your pitcher in the morning instead of the night before so the tastes won’t intensify as much. Or use half the amounts of ginger, lemon, and mint.

I have been on the flat belly diet and decreased the size of my belly, hips and butt. This is the only diet that seems to have worked for me.

Even WW added this fat to their diet plan.

Yes Ann, please try eating this way, I'm finding that I'm not craving the sweet stuff maybe because of eating good fats and satisfied.

Hi Lovemypets...I'm new and waiting for my book to arrive from Amazon too. I've just finished my 4 day jumpstart and will weigh & measure tomorrow for my results.
I really liked the food and will continue with the programme.
I wish you every success!

Thank you for this link! I'm a newcomer to the team after having decided to order the book from Amazon today. I can't wait to receive it. From everything I've heard and read, the diet is based on foods that I already love, and the early quick results may be just the jumpstart I've been needing. Looking forward to getting to know everybody on the team. emoticon

Just wondering about the results of the use of the "Flat Belly Diet" book. Are there any really postive results from the use of the book? I am still trying to decide if this is the book for me or not. I would appreciate any feedback on the results that have taken place.

If you can wait a couple months, the book will be out in regular bookstores for a lot less than buying it from Rodale. Until then, this team board has lots of ideas, and Prevention's Web site does also.
