TODAY Is MY tomorrow. It's up to ME to shape it, To TAKE CONTROL and seize EVERY opportunity. The POWER is in the choices I make EVERY day. I eat well, I live well I SHAPE ME!

THE EMPOWERED LIFE. EXPECT IT . BELIEVE IT. RECEIVE IT.
The human will is the most incredible thing. It's what keeps us going when everyone else expects us to quit.

THIS MEANS WAR AGAINST FAT:
I'm too positive to be doubtful, too optimistic to be fearful, and too determined to be defeated.

Choosing not to experience pain, anger, or other intense feelings could cause them to become buried deep into your physical body.

Throughout our lives, we may experience emotions that disturb or distress us. Often, our first reaction is to push our feelings away. We may say, "I don't want to think about that right now, I'll think about it later" and we bury our emotions, deny the validity of our feelings, or distract ourselves with other concerns. But the diverse emotions you experience are neither good nor bad--they are simply a part of being human. Choosing not to experience pain, anger, or other intense feelings could cause those feelings to become buried deep into your physical body. There, they may linger unresolved and unable to emerge, even as they affect the way you experience the world. Allowing yourself to experience all of your emotions rather than push the more painful ones away can help you come to terms with your feelings so you can experience them and then move on.

It is possible to bring forth the old feelings you have pushed aside and experience them in a safe and enriching way. It may sound silly to set aside time to feel your old wounds that you haven't dealt with, but this can be a very beneficial healing experience. Find a safe place and pick a time when you can be alone. Make sure that you feel secure and comfortable in your surroundings. Bring to mind the circumstances that originally triggered the emotions you've been pushing away. You may need to revisit these circumstances by reading relevant entries in your journal or using visualization to relive your past. Once you have triggered your long-denied emotions, let yourself feel your feelings, and try not to judge your reactions. Cry or sound your emotions if you need to, and don't block the flow of your feelings. Allow any thoughts that are connected to your emotions to surface. As you release the feelings you have pushed inside of you, you will find yourself healing from the experience associated with these emotions.

When you deal with your feelings directly, they can move through you rather than staying stopped up in your body as emotional blocks that can sometimes turn into disease. Acknowledging your emotions, instead of pushing them away, allows you to stay emotionally healthy and in touch with your feelings.

I'm sure we've all experienced this or are experiencing being out of love with our bodies.

Given that our bodies arrive with us at birth, and leave with us in death it is meant to be a dearly beloved partner, a constant soul companion. Our bodies are our human outer appearance, and they are here to teach us, support and guide us in tandem with our personalities and our souls. Thus, whenever there is an issue with the body, we need to look at the belief from soul perspective. Attacking your body with diets and grueling fitness regimes may create body changes, but until you do the inner work, we'll still be stuck in the same place. Only inner work can change how we feel about our outer appearance.

Today, I want us to dig deep, deeper than we've perhaps ever dug in the past.

How many of us have struggled or are struggling with diets and exercise programs and nothing seems to budge? Or if you've been successful at diets and exercise but you still don't love who you are, perhaps it's time to take another approach.

Our Goal Should be Nothing Short of Total Body Love
If we want to love our bodies, we have to LOVE our bodies!
So, begs the question. How do I stop the insanity of body hate, body shame, body discomfort and get the Universe to shift that for me, and become free?

We could start by provoking our thoughts with asking ourselves a few soul searching questions and begin getting to the root of the problem.

Where did my body shame came from? Was it from ancestry, society, or some particular wound in your life? Is it from being Overweight, Underweight?
Was it from a Pregnancy, Infertility or Post Natal?
Could it be from Midlife, Menopause or Andropause?
Could it be from an Eating Disorder, or Addictions?
Is it because I struggle with Gender Identity, Cultural Identity?
Is it because of Illness, from a surgery?
Could it be from Adrenaline overwhelm or Empathic overwhelm?

Why am I having confusing feelings about my body?

Why isn't my body as open and free as I'd love it to be?

Is it gender, race, culture or background what's affecting my perception of my body image?

Is my body image a reflection of your inner healing?

How can I be more comfortable physically?

How can I be more comfortable in intimacy?

How do I accept my addictions and cravings and, as I accept them at an inner level, will I begin to see them shift?

How do I accept my body in all the ages and stages of life?

How do I love my body during illness and trauma?

How do I see my body as a soul companion?

It won't happen overnight but as we do this inner work, we should begin to notice that we are starting to better love ourselves. And as this love permeates our entire self, our bodies will respond to this love, almost as if by magic. Our bodies will heal and shift and change, effortlessly, simply because it is loved.
