I forgot to mention the Spark Jar team for savings. I haven't been very active there lately emoticon , but it's a good place to go for tips on saving money and for saving accountability.

I lead a new class team also, that was fun and the work did not last long. If you haven't tried that you should, it is really great!

Interesting reading about your teams, Don and Frannie...

The Class Team was a great way to get started!

For awhile I was active on an Accountability thread in a large group that then reorganized. Since then, a number of us who were posting in that original thread have "migrated" to the Fresh Start team which is smaller and more personal. I like that! But new members are of course welcome!

The Stir Up Your Fitness team is also great for learning about ways to do just that - I think I started getting involved there when I was on one of my plateaus and the input there was a big help. It's also a smaller team but enthusiastic about exercise.

I also like the One Day Challenge team - not a lot of dialog there, but fun things to keep the weight loss journey lively and interesting!

Now I'm also on two Maintenance teams, one for Christian Women where we're doing a book study. And the bigger At Goal and Maintaining Team.

Leading a new class team has been a fun experience but we recently added a co-leader from the team itself (Don, it's Carol who also co-leads Never Been Skinny - small world!). I'll be only posting there occasionally in the future.

100+ (for those looking to lose 100 or more pounds) has been an large and very active Team which I've enjoyed.

I have been a co-leader for All Health Professionals which is a VERY large Team, but only a core of maybe 25-50 members...have been trying to rally more participation...which has been coming along.

Never Been Skinny has been a small, but tight group of folks who share that common bond of not knowing what "normal" is, and on our journey to find out!

50+ males...well, guys will be guys and there just isn't much dialogue there at all...lol!

One of the teams that helped me a lot was the 50+ females. It is nice to have a team where everyone shares the same sorts of issues that you do and can give you tips on how to deal with them, I also belong to a 50+ with 25 - 49 lbs to lose (I am a co-leader in that team) and it is a really active and supportive group so I really enjoyed that. Both these teams have been essential to my goals. I belong to one of the Biggest Loser Challenge teams (I am a Periwinkle!) and that is great because of the motivation it provides to keep up with my program. And then there is the Teachers Learning to Lose, I am a co-leader to that one and it is just an enjoyable group to belong to. I have a high blood pressure group, not as active but still a nice group for tips on dealing with HBP.

I love being able to come back and check in with this team. You are the people who started with me.

What have your favorite teams been while on your Spark journey this past year? Have you started one yourself?

In this thread, I thought we could share about the team or teams that have helped us or ARE helping us reach our goals.

If you're a team leader and are looking for new members, feel free to "advertise" here, too.

And hey! - Maybe you've been thinking about creating a new team but haven't gotten around to it yet - today might be just the day to get started!
