jumping roping was a disaster emoticon emoticon sore hips, knees and ankles. I'll go back to my treadmill. I did add a mini trampoline which is fun

I'm needing to change up some of my exercises from machines to body weight. Mainly my core.
Seeing the urologist tomorrow. Had a repeat urine test and still have blood and bacteria in my pee. Originally, the appt was for 12/29. I called yesterday and asked about an earlier appt. So I went from seeing the nurse practioner on 12/29 to seeing a doctor tomorrow. Have only minor discomfort down there. Plus, my c section incision feels irritated at times. I gave birth to my son back in 1985.

Sitting here making my exercise plan for the coming week. Rearranging and adding new exercises. Mondays will be cardio/arms/shoulders. Tues, cardio abs and legs. Wednesday, cardio. Thurs/Friday, cardio and full body (my choice of exercises). Monday will be the beginning of week 8.

Saw the folks over at the redefining strength youtube channel recently published a new video with 24 isometric strength moves, using just your body weight, for the lower body. Like to include isometric moves in my workouts because I can time myself and see my strength and endurance improving. If you haven't given it a try--here are some ideas to work along with her--or add into your workouts/weekly/monthly/quarterly fitness testing. Some times I add one isometric pose into my tabata/hit workouts. Very effective.
