The Fall Biggest Loser Challenge is now over! Our ladies completed 10 whole weeks of the challenge, weighing in every week and WOW did we ever have some amazing results!!

Over the 10 weeks as a whole, 154.1 lbs of weight was lost!! emoticon emoticon emoticon that's like an ENTIRE PERSON!

and now without further adieu, the BIGGEST LOSER of the FALL CHALLENGE is....

Congratulations TKOVACH1! You lost 7.57 % of your body weight and a total of 17.3 lbs during this challenge.

A close runner up was SWEETCHICK87 losing 7.14% of her body weight and a total of 25.5lbs.

I am incredibly proud of you all and it makes me happy to see so many people getting some results from the support, accountability, and fun of the challenge. Way to go everyone!!

Your challenge this week is to get those servings of fruit in! The team that eats the most servings of fruit by the end of the week will gain immunity from eliminations!

EXAMPLES OF FRUIT SERVINGS:

Apple: large (3.25"diameter), 1 small (2.5" diameter), 1 cup sliced, chopped or cooked
Applesauce: 1 cup
Banana: 1 large (8-9 long) or 1 cup sliced
Cantaloupe: 1 cup of cubed melon or 2 medium wedges (about of a medium melon)
Grapes: 1 cup whole or sliced or 32 seedless grapes
Grapefruit: 1 medium (4" diameter) or 1 cup sectioned
Orange: 1 large (3-1/16" diameter)
Peach: 1 large (2-3/4" diameter), 1 cup sliced or 1 cup canned and drained peaches
Pear: 1 medium (2 per pound), 1 cup sliced or 1 cup canned and drained pears
Pineapple: 1 cup sliced, diced, or crushed, 1 cup cooked or 1 cup canned and drained

Your challenge this week is to master the basic plank! The team that has the most members that get to a full 60 second plank by the end of the week will gain immunity! emoticon

Start with 20 seconds, then 25 seconds, then 35 seconds, and so on. It doesn't matter how you progress but by the end of the week you should be able to hold plank position for a full 60 seconds!

1 cup carrots or 12 baby carrots
2 cups mesclun greens, 2 cups raw spinach or 1 cup cooked greens
1 cup green beans
1 cup chopped, raw or cooked peppers or 2 small bell peppers
1 medium baked sweet potato or 1 cup cooked sliced or mashed sweet potato
1 cup chopped or sliced, raw, canned or cooked tomato
1 cup cooked or raw broccoli or 10 broccoli florets

Hello DONE GIRLS! Week 3 of our Biggest Loser Challenge is complete. This week the team that completed the most strength training minutes was.... *drumroll*

The BLUE Team!! 655 strength training minutes which is approx 10.92 hours of strength training! Way to go!! Your team has earned IMMUNITY this week from eliminations!! GREAT JOB!! emoticon

The team with the highest percentage of weight loss this week was a TIE between the BLUE Team and the PURPLE team with each team losing -0.40 % as a team. Way to go!! emoticon Since the blue team already has immunity, this means the PURPLE team also gains immunity from eliminations this week!

***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***

Your dear Peppermint made a mistake when adding up the fitness minutes for week 1. My apologies!

The team that had the MOST activity minutes was the BLUE TEAM!!! They had 2147 minutes which is approx 35.8 hours of exercise. I missed a post for one of the blue team members who did a fantastic job!

Sooooo that being said, I won't go back on giving immunity to the teams I gave it to already, but to make things interesting, reward the BLUE team for such an amazing job, and to make up for my mistake, I'm giving the BLUE team a 5 LB ADVANTAGE next week for the team weigh-in emoticon

Everyone better get their lovely bums in gear because you never know what may happen!!

Hi ladies, don't worry it won't be the entire team that gets eliminated! What will happen is the individual members will be eliminated as we go until there's only one or two people left on a team, and then I will probably move those people to another team for the remainder of the challenge. For the people who haven't participated or weighed in, those people will definitely be the first to go!

On the weeks that a team gets immunity from completing the challenge(s), that just means the entire team is immune from anyone getting eliminated. Hope that helps! emoticon

Please remember to update your fitness (minutes) tracker for the week and log your week 1 weigh in no later than Sunday Afternoon so that I can use the afternoon/evening to tally everything up and get ready for week 2. Please use the tracker template I provided in the challenge posts to indicate each days activity minutes so that I can easily add up your minutes and don't have to weed through all of the posts. Have a great weekend!!

emoticon to week 1 of the BIGGEST LOSER CHALLENGE!

Your challenge this week is to get as many active minutes you can as a team. You have Monday-Saturday with your weight due on Sunday morning (please post your weigh in with your active minutes tracker in your group so I can easily find it). The activity minutes can be any kind of exercise. Cardio, strength training, walking, biking, swimming, etc.

Each day record your active minutes in your team color post and at the end of the week the team with the HIGHEST amount of minutes will gain IMMUNITY from eliminations on Sunday, August 26. Those that fail to weigh in will cause a penalty to their team and two weeks missed in a row is an automatic elimination.

Let the games begin! Have a good week teams!

Make sure to record your weigh in for week 1 by Sunday afternoon on August 26.

Please try to keep your tracker in the same post within your team post for me to easily tally up at the end of the week.

OMG! I've never participated in a challenge but since I am struggling alone I think I am more likely to try harder remembering my teammates than copping out on just me. Besides I am the continual optimist since fall weather is right around the corner. Count me in and show me the way. I'm ready for a challenge. Thank you for setting this up.

It's been awhile but we heard you. You want another BIGGEST LOSER CHALLENGE! Am I right? emoticon

This time we will be having TEAMS! That means PLEASE only sign up if you are serious about making a commitment to the fellow DONE girls on your team. Only sign up if you are serious about participating in a long running challenge. Are we ready to do this? Let's end the summer together and kick off fall with the mindset to reach our goals and to hustle as we support each other! emoticon Please post your starting weight on your sign up post by August 16!!

The challenge will run for 10 weeks!!!
