I just joined done and I am with the sodium challenge. For me it is extra important because I was pre-hypertensive and now my blood pressure is normal. Most days I tend to conquer the sodium issues but, it is hard. Here is my sodium intake for each day this week:

I just started tracking my sodium yesterday!

Goal: 500 - 2,300
Actual: 1,469

Yesterday's actual:2,404

I'm glad I started tracking it! On a high sodium day, my weight will be up a couple pounds the next day! I don't want that!!!

After adding sodium to my nutrition page and see my sodium counts have almost been near 3000, if not more, including today at 3067, my sodium is out of control! And I had no idea either which is the sad part!

Count me in!! :)

Well this week I just made chicken salad and been eating it on toast, last week I made pizza turnovers (but they were still a little high on the sodium). Then I'll eat fruits and veggies for the rest of the meal. The reason I'm going to go over tonight is we are going to have hamburger helper buritos and OMG I should have checked before I picked it up! I'm still able to tweak it... we'll see how I do.

That's a really good point, IFNOT2! It's not like we're not trying to manage it and just watching ourselves keep eating 3000+ mg of sodium! We're doing something about it! What's your name btw?

I agree. It's not a bad thing, it just sucks when so many extras involve it. It's a good thing to watch, especially for those who have high blood pressure. The worst thing is going out to eat though! Oh man, I could get 5k sodium if I went out!
