Exercise goal: This week I'm adding increments of one minute to the elliptical. i.e: 17 minutes today. 18 minutes tomorrow. . .etc. . up to 20 minutes. Rest day. Then stay at 20 minutes per day for five days. Rest day. Add increments up to 25 minutes then stay there for five days. Then level up to level 5 and start at 15 minutes x 5 days then one minute increments, etc. Same format to 25 minutes. I may stay there and increase time to 45 minutes. Then we will see. But that's my plan.

I keep saying I don't want to get like my mom - 350+ pounds. First stroke at 50 - I'm now 50 - sick for 10 years then dead at 60. I don't want my kids having to take care of me. And I don't want to be like that. But, I think, in reality, I just want this belly to go away. I'm tired of being overweight.

I don't know why, either. I'm just in an 'ugh' mood today. Prayers, please.

Food plan is 21 Day Fix. I've followed it very well for a while and it worked really well. Then this virus hit and it was purchase food and plan meals around that. But in reality, I like to eat and two carbs per day (1 cup equivalent) is not a lot. Most of my dinners are carb driven. Mostly because it's cheaper and can feed more that way. I've got my breakfast pretty well down. It's just low carb/no carb lunches I'm having problems coming up with. . .and on a budget. *sigh*

OK. I'll shut up. The 'cloud' in my silver lining always.
