I like the Momma Mia Chia Drinks, but there are only a few flavors available at my Wal~Mart. Besides being able to make your own flavors, these are probably healthier too. Since 2 tablespoons of chia seeds have almost 10 grams of fiber, that's around 40% of the recommended daily intake.* High fiber diets have been linked to weight loss so making your own chia seed drinks could help you lose weight too.

If you try this, please let us know what your recipe was.

Ingredients
1 cup water
3 Tablespoons chia seeds
1 cup beverage of choice (fruit juice, iced coffee, almond milk, etc)

Preparation
In a jar or other airtight container, mix water and chia seeds together; allow to sit at room temperature and stir every 15 minutes for 1 hour. Put lid on container and chill for at least 8 hours or overnight.

When you’re ready to assemble your drink, mix one part gelled chia seeds with an equal amount of the beverage of your choice.
