I always add protein to snacks and that fills me up so for example peanut butter and apples, cottage cheese and fruit, veggies and hummus or fat free ranch veggie dip, or fat free yogurt with fruit.

It's not really a snack I guess, but I like making a BIG salad: lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers with abt 1/2 tbsp. light ranch (less than 100 cals).

Unsweetened almond milk is so delicious!! I am on a low sugar/controlled carb program and with the Truvia and a splash of cream..YUMMMO!!!

Make sure your almond milk is cold. I get the Blue Diamond brand..

I eat small meals every 3 hours and that keeps me from overeating. Also I have been making sure that I have something with protein, like apples and peanut butter or a small handful of nuts. I have actually started adding a protein shake as a snack and that is very filling as well.

Carrots and celery sticks. If you are starving and do not have hypertension you could have a soup at hand by Campbell's it is only 80 calories and full of water. It can be ready in as little as 2 minutes.

my weight loss snacks were...

1. fresh fruits (not much) and veggies (a lot, no carrots) w/

natural penaut butter (2 TBSP up to 2 times a day)

2. tuna or salmon pouch 2.6 oz, 2 oz. grilled chicken breast or 2 small lean, grilled turkey balls w/

a small salad (2 TBSP of balsamic vinegar and EVOO) or rolled in lettuce

3. protein shake w/

any fruit of my choice mixed in

that's it.

Snack options: Carrots and/or broccoli with fat free Ranch dressing, grapes and apple slices. When you have a craving for nuts, try measuring out 1 cup and mix it with some raisins(as many as you like), you will be full quick. hope this helps!
