If the weather is nice on Tuesday, my DH and I are going to a state park to ride the bicycle trails. This is one of my goals!! I haven't done it in 2 years because of my weight.

We'll bring a picnic lunch with us. emoticon

This menu is too high in fat and sodium, but look at all the fruits and vegetables. That's my main focus. Plus, staying within my calorie limit.

Our game will be played on Thursday this week! Be prepared to pamper yourself.

The game will be "Pretty Princess Party." We're going to pamper ourselves and post a list of non-food related rewards. Examples: bubble bath; DH gave you a back rub; talked on the phone with your sister. No duplicates. The longest list wins!

Question on planned meals: I posted my food plan for today earlier, but when I ate lunch I was full before I ate the apple. Can I eat it later and still be in compliance with my plan? Or is it okay to have planned too much for a meal and not eat it all? Thanks, Kimi

Good afternoon Daffy-Dills!

I'm working on the challenges for the week. As soon as I get several completed I'll post them. I'll probably be doing a blog either today or tomorrow. Just getting my thoughts together. Plus, I'm trying to come up with a prank for the Sunflowers. I'm really not good at that.

Today's Meal/Snack plan:
Breakfast: 1 cup Honey Nut Cheerios & small banana with skim milk

AM snack: fresh peach

Lunch: Turkey Bologna & cheese sandwich on light wheat bread w/mustard; celery sticks; Weight Watchers Lemon Cake, apple.

PM snack: single serve bag of sun chips

Dinner: Lean Cusine frozen dinner; steamed broccoli; applesauce

Bedtime snack: 1 oz cashews

optional snack in case blood sugar tanks on me: Special K snack bar.

Well, Daffy-Dills! We did pretty good last week! Here's the stats:

429 total points + 19 pts for weight lost / 11 = 40.7 points per person.

19 pounds lost as a team / 11 = 1.7 per person

We had some great losses last week! WOW!!! Wonderful!

Hey!

I couldn't find a place to weigh in on Friday. I'm home now. The best I could do was to maintain last week. I want to lose big this week! I just got back from the store and cut up two huge bowls of fruit for the week. Cantelope, watermelon, pineapple, strawberries, and grapes. I have some bananas to add also. Yippee! I love this time of year!

Happy Sunday everyone!

I've been real busy today...Made dinner for 3 nights this week and then scrubbed down the kitchen.

Then started on the living room and bird room. Have both those rooms swept and also swept the stairway to downstairs.

Next going to dust the living room and then those rooms will be done. I think I'll be done after that.

As for the dinners...DD gave me some fresh basil, chives and oregano, so thought I would make chicken parmesan, lasagna, and spaghetti sauce.

Better run, be back later.
