I am really, really, really sorry. It has been a crappy week all round. My co-worker's last week was this week (there are only 2 full time staff there, so I was quite busy - and her leaving was a bit sudden)

I didn't weigh in until the afternoon, and ended up showing a gain of 0.7lbs - I'm sure it is because of the time difference in weighing, but oh well...

Again, I'm really sorry, for not contributing this week.

Week #3
1. Post to your team thread at least 4 days this week. (5 pts)

2. Drink at least 8+ waters for 3 days this week. (3 pts) Sat/Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs 3pts

3. Eat 6 or more servings of fruits/veggies in one day. (3 pts) Tues (salad for lunch) 3pts

4. Send a team mate a goodie with a motivational message. (1 pt)

5. Do at least 3 hours of fitness activities this week. (4 pts) biking 45min/day x 4 days 4pts

6. Complete a task that you have been putting off such as cleaning out your closet or weeding the garden. (3 pts) organizing den 3pts

7. Pamper yourself in some way this week and post what pampering you did. (4 pts)

8. Prank the other team. (2 pts)

Good afternoon, Sassies!!!! I have been "puny", just a slight bug or something!! Getting better though!!!! I decided that today is "Princess Day" for me!!!! I RARELY take a day for me, so today is the day!!!!{{how convenient!! LOL!!}} I am sp0ending the day doing all kinds of things I enjoy!!!! I will add to the list later!!!! It is gonna take me awhile!!!! LOL LOL!!!! Let's get to PAMPERING ourselves!!!!

Challenges for the final week!!

Week #3

1. Post to your team thread at least 4 days this week. (5 pts) - Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue - +5pts

2. Drink at least 8+ waters for 3 days this week. (3 pts) - Sat, Sun, Mon - +3pts

3. Eat 6 or more servings of fruits/veggies in one day. (3 pts) - Mon - Posted them in my menu for Mon - +3pts

4. Send a team mate a goodie with a motivational message. (1 pt) - Tue - Diane & Lucy - +1pt

5. Do at least 3 hours of fitness activities this week. (4 pts) - Sat= 60min, Mon= 120min - +4pts

6. Complete a task that you have been putting off such as cleaning out your closet or weeding the garden. (3 pts) Mon - cleaned out a kitchen cabinet I had been avoiding - +3pts

7. Pamper yourself in some way this week and post what pampering you did. (4 pts) - Thu - ALL DAY - had hot Earl Grey tea on front deck this AM & read my Bible for a while, for rest of day.....see princess party list - +4pts

8. Prank the other team. (2 pts) - Mon - sabotaged their kitchen - +2pts

9. Dance Party! Turn on your favorite music while doing regular chores one day and dance while doing those chores. For example, dance while doing dishes or cooking dinner or even during the commercials of your favorite tv show. (5 pts) - Sat (clean house while boogying to XM-The Blend) - +5pts

10. Plan your meals/snacks for one day and stick to it – no exceptions. Post your planned meals/snacks. (4 pts) - Mon - posted on this thread - kept to it EXACTLY - +4pts

Hi everyone - I just wanted to check in and let you I haven't fallen off of the face of the earth. I am really sorry I have not been much help to the team. I was really busy last week and did not post my weight ( I gained) - and this week I have been really sick - so I have done nothing towards the challenge, nor have i been working out or watching calories. It stormed all night! I slept horrible :(
I did get 80 crunches and 100 lateral lunges in along with dancing last night and bouncing on my stability ball. 400 crunches each week should slim down this tummy and give me abs... Right? The Captains' Game for the week:

THURSDAY ~ "Pretty Princess Party"!!!!

Okay, for everyone who has asked.....staying within calorie range means just that:
1560-1910 is my calorie range & I must be between those 2 numbers for it to count!!

as for the menu day....you must follow it exactly!!!! At least I think that is how it works!!!! LOL LOL!!!!

Good morning everyone. I finally have a day off, and I'm going to catch up on some challenges. I plan on cleaning out my kitchen cabinets, and reorganizing them. I don't make the rules, but I would think that being a little under the limit is OK. But what's the limit for going under? 50 calories? 100? 5% of your lower limit? 10%?

If and only if it's not under 1200???

Morning everybody.

I have got really short hair now, so I can't lose any more hair weight either..lol..loks like we will just have to work hard and get the fat off instead.

I forget who asked about being in limit with challenge 14 (13 is a blog) but as I understand it, it is to track food and stay in limit..on the nose or under is in limit...but don't go too far under or your body hangs onto the weight anyway...just don't go over
Is that right, do you all agree with that?

Halfway through the final week, keep your heads screwed onto positive thoughts, and walk whenever you can, instead of using transport

Hey, if you cut your hair and you lose weight it's going to count in the challenges, but it's certainly not a good weight loss strategy - we want to lose fat pounds, not hair pounds! emoticon

As for staying in range calorie-wise, both too many calories and too few are bad.

I went out before work today, to celebrate losing 30 pounds. My reward was a new haircut. I got about a foot of hair cut off, and donated it to locks of love. My hair barely touches the collar of my shirt now, but it's so cute, and feels so much lighter. I wonder if I lost a couple of extra pounds this week because of my hair cut. emoticon
