Nearly at the end of April and the end of our TRACKING CHALLENGE how have we all been going with it. I done reasonably well have tracked today and every day except the last 2 days.

Tracking is a great way to know if you are eating too much or too little and seeing it written down can be a powerful thing. Running the nutrition tracker feedback here in SP is awesome and may let you in on some insights you did not know about!

Let's go strong with tracking for the last few days of the challenge! WE CAN DO IT!!!!

I've tracked my food today. Went ok surprisingly especially after eating food at a wake for a friends husbands funeral.

That article Richard was awesome such an inspiration and really makes you see the power in tracking. The nutrition tracker in SP is really awesome and easy to use also which makes it great!

I've tracked all my food today just now and I've done ok. Just one more glass of water to have and I will have reached my 8 glass total for the today.

I figured also that peanuts were a better choice than Camembert cheese or salami which was also on offer lol I'm about to track my food for today and think today I should be within my calorie range.

Yes I need to have 1 more glass of water before bed tonight to have had my 8 glasses today but I can do it. having a green tea at the moment but really want one more water before bed.

Paula, at least with the peanuts, you got some healthy oils and protein.
a much better choice than potato crisps or twisties.

reminded me just now that air-popped popcorn may be useful to keep on hand.

Good one Jenye!

I've been tracking though I went over my calorie allowance by a little yesterday. My dad and his wife had dinner with us next door at mum's last night and she had peanuts out as one of the nibbles well I had half a cup of them lol they are moreish once you start you can't stop. 400 odd calories apparently according to the nutrition tracker.

Won't be doing that again. I knew they were loaded with calories but I thought 1/2 a cup won't be that bad surely. How wrong was I lol I should of checked out the calories first I guess. But at the time we were just sitting down having a drink and nibbles and you know how it goes you're conscious of not wanting to over do it but.......... things happen lol

Not 100% sure there Richard but I would say pounds. When I calculated mine out I used pounds and I came up with 7 glasses of water a day is apparently optimal for me. but that's if this is a correct formula and as you say is in pounds. I still go for 8 glasses a day though.

the only thing with this formula are the units of measure
weight in pounds?

everyone can be a bit different with their fluid intake.
it appears as tho up to 12 glasses a day may be recommended.
there are different categories of beverages as defined by this article.

I've tracked everything for today though I will admit I went over on my calorie allowance a little bit and I can thank a magnum mini classic ice cream for that lol oh well.

That's great to have two team members so far joining me on this one.

Keep us updated on how you both are going (especially if you are actually tracking each and every day on the spark nutrition tracker)

The challenge I'll be doing from now till the end of April is pretty easy. As you all know I am a member of weight watchers and I usually track my food on the weight watchers site only.

BUT.....................Till the end of April to change things a bit I will be tracking my food and setting up and tracking with the SparkPeople Nutrition Tracker as well as weight watchers site. Just to see how I go.

I will let you know how I think it is going by my weigh-ins each week in the team weigh in and replying to this challenge thread my thoughts etc...
