I do what I can and listen to my body. I am suffering from allergies right now. It is more of a problem when the humidty is high or it is really cold. I am going to attempt Zumba this afternoon--hopefully the sinus headache will not interfere emoticon

In spite of being on allergy shots, I can have problems with what's blowing around. I have come across one thing that works very well and has no side effects. It's also obtainable from a health food store. Butterbur. I suggest reading reviews for this on iherb so you can see what results others have had. One I read said that it resolved her migraines in two months. I can be out in the blowing wind on a lake and have no problems.

For me I get a lot of allergy headaches, mostly severe to do something about my exercise need I do vinyasa yoga or yoga for weight loss. It is slow enough that it doesn't increase my headache, its just hard to get the energy up to do it! However I decided that if I don't let my headaches be an excuse to keep me from work then I can't let it be an excuse to not work out. But I do save taebo or running for a non headache day.

Todd, glad you were able to get a workout in. I love to walk/job but you're right about outside and the pollen.

I tend to focus on strength training or walking. Most of the exercises I'm doing for strength don't seem to be impacted by my bad sinuses.

On the day I posted this, I woke up with a nagging sinus headache. After a while, it subsided--so I did some light jogging without trouble. Next time I face a headache, I will try just walking...of course with my severe allergies, it couldn't be outside! I agree that light activity is better than no activity... (I used to use headaches as an excuse for not exercising)

Peace, Todd

I usually try walking outdoors this sometimes helps with the headache, and i get a light workout at the same time.

You have the right idea. Light exercises is beter than nothing at all.

I'm right in the middle of one now and plan on just walking and doing strength training. Won't burn as many calories but at least it's better than nothing.

How do you all cope with working out when dealing with a headache? I have tried jogging with one, but it inevitably leads to a severe headache. Strength training instead, perhaps...or light cardio like walking? That's what I plan to attempt today. Any ideas?

Peace, Todd
