looks like I'm finishing the month with 1036%. Time for this sparker to say good night. You start where you start. I have the kind of job where 10,000 to 15,000 steps at work is a normal day and 20,000 isn't that uncommon. Add in walking 2 dogs and 25,000 to 30,000 steps a day becomes normal.

i am not as active as most of the people in this group or anywhere however i bought my tracker to help me work back up to a more healthy lifestyle. my exercise is usually in the pool. i was so close to the april goal i decided to spend an extra 40 minutes in the pool today. i swam, i walked i treaded (?) water. and i did it! yay!! so excited i made the goal for april. cant wait to see what may will be.

298% for April. This is my first complete monthly challenge. I look forward to repeat success. This SPAT/tracker has kept me motivated. I fully expect to blow the doors off of the month of May. Boy everyone seems to have did a great job for Aprils Challenge even if most of us seem to be on the injured list. I finished ,as of this morning at 349% and the days not over yet. May try to get in some of that raking this afternoon as there is barely any breeze even if its clouded over, temps are in the high 50's so that's not to bad. Wonder what they have in store for our challenge next month? What ever it is I'm sure we are up to it. emoticon

Wow, 262% for the challenge! I'm still struggling some days to make my personal goal though, it's set at 9,000 since I was more than exceeding my earlier goal of 5,000. If I get in my twice around the work complex walk in I'm good, otherwise I fall short.

Week-end was spent doing some spring clean up jobs around the property. Took down the snow fence and put it away, took the tarps off the camper ( checked it for leeks as its never had so much snow on it as it did this winter, all OK) and we went to a craft show a friend had some stone work in, spent a bit of money then went to lunch and came home. Yesterday I got in a couple of miles on the road, a bit a cool breeze blowing but that was OK. Was going to get in some raking when I got home from the gym (1/2 hour on treadmill @ 3.5 mph and 1/2 hour on elliptical @ 150+ steps per minute) but the wind is kicking up pretty good, no use doing it if all its going to do is blow back before I can get it picked up. Any way did well enough last week to get a silver medal and I'm well over 300% of the 70,000 steps for the month even with the foot acting up off and on. Everyone take care out there. emoticon

Reply to Dee, don't have a date sometime soon: waiting on Worker's Comp approval, which they take their sweet ole time; but they too have a time limit and if they deny then it goes to court --which they will loose cause it's a Doctors recommendations..... but it can get dragged on and on.... in the meantime I am in pain-- so I just keep swimming, literally. LOL.

Spending the day home, plan on tracking by cleaning my 'sun porch' and getting it ready for the summer fun, and I also have to clean of the cob webs on my exercise equipment(tread mill, bowflex, stair stepper) that I will try to use after my surgery. LOL.

Thanks TC, got my pool time in today, which I absolutely love cause it is nearly painless with little gravity involved and I can do laps..... so burning calories is a breeze! Then did some shopping and got some tracked steps in that way also.

Heck I clean forgot to post my work out, went right out one of the holes in my head.

Got in an hour of upper body strength training then a 40 minute walk on the treadmill and a 10 minute stretch. Today is a cool/cloudy day that looks like it wants to spit rain at any second. Oh well at least you don't need to shovel rain. emoticon

Afternoon everyone, foot seems to be something that comes and goes, like a recurring head ache, but believe me I'm not going to do anything it doesn't want to do nothing I hate more then not being able to move around. But thank you all for the kind thoughts.

Working hard to do daily challenges, regardless of knee pain.... can't wait for the surgery to get all of this behind me.... that is where my de-stressing techniques will come in handy, LOL.

Foot seems to be better today but used the sitting elliptical and bike today at the gym to get my "steps" in. Got in about "10 miles" all with out leaving the gym. then did some upper body work and stretch's to finish out. have a great day. emoticon

Got in 2 miles (@3mph) so far and will do some walking around the house to get in more. Foot is sore, but manageable, so far any way. So far only a few sprinkles so might try a short walk down my drive and back up, almost 900 steps round trip. Hey the sun just peeked out, hope it stays for a bit. Hope every ones having a nice Easter, ours has been quit so far and the hubby is doing the cooking, can't beat that with a stick. Spoke with the kids and Grandkids this morning and they are all heading to my sisters for dinner, so they are all set. We live 250 miles to the NW of them so we don't get to see them as often as we'd all like but that's what we have phones and computers for. Enjoy the rest of your holiday every one emoticon

Rested the foot yesterday, only took about 3000+ steps but nothing I didn't need to do. And such a lovely day out too, sunny and 62 with no wind, don't think we've have had such a day since last Sept. The foot feels some what better this morning but now the powers that be are calling for rain today so I guess its back to the treadmill, or at least try to see if the foot gets through it. Lord at my age some new pain pops up every week it seems. emoticon . emoticon

I'm at 235% of challenge but not sure how much I'll be able to do for a few days. Seems I've done something to my foot, it hurts across the top of my foot with each step I take. Been like this since Thurs. afternoon, if it keeps up I'll need to go to urgent care and have it looked at. Lord I hope I haven't broken something couldn't stand it if I needed to sit for any length of time. emoticon

My tracker has been on fire with my increased activity while I was on vacation.I almost doubled my weekly steps last week.

122% to goal and I received my Spark trophy for completing the challenge. However since the month is not yet done, neither am I.

If our asking what i think your asking on you Spark Activity Tracker page, on the right hand side about 3/4 the way down is a bar with your %. It isn't very big and you need to watch for it as you scroll down. It is blue and goes left to right

Just checked to see how I was doing on this challenge and found that I have already gotten over 82,000 steps in April!

I only get about 6,000 steps in a day...that was a challenge at first...but know I am getting that everyday...I'm inspired to try for 10,000 now....GO ME

73,072 on the 12th. I aim for my 10,000 steps a day. Work out at the gym and sometimes take a walk after dinner if needed. I do have down days. I think I only did 6,000 yesterday cause I did not go to the gym. lol
